Gauging Student Needs Assessment

Purpose of the AssessmentTo gather information about what students already know and what they wonder about types of tales. What I want to learn from my students?I want to find out what they already know about the Unit Questions. How I have tried to promote higher-order thinking?I ask students to find relationships and draw conclusions about tales and how they relate to each other and to history. How the assessment information helps me and my students plan for upcoming activities in the unit? The assessments let me know if the students are grasping the information that is being covered. Assessments let me know who needs help with a particular concept and which students need to be grouped together to work. What feedback or additional ideas I’d like? I am open to any suggestions.
