FAMILY VISIT VISA

The passport should be valid for at least six months from the date of submission of the visa application.

One Visa Application Form to be filled in completely and signed by the applicant.

Two recent color photographs, 35x45 mm in size with white background. Covering letter for stating purpose of visit to U.K. Employment letter from the current organization (employer) stating the

position and the tenure of service. Invitation letter from the family member to United Kingdom. Accommodation proof of the inviter as mortgage proof. Employment proof and financial documents of the inviter from U.K. Proof of accommodation: hotel reservation including the name and phone

number of hotel. (if stay in hotel) A no objection certificate from the current employer. Proof of airline reservation for a return trip e.g. reservation slip Children under the age 18 traveling to U.K.without their parents/guardian

should carry a letter confirming that they have permission from their parents/guardian allowing them to travel.

Proof of sufficient funds

Bank statement for last 6 months including address and telephone number of the bank, A/C holder’s name, address with stamp & signature of bank.

Income tax returns for last 3 year. 3 months salary slips. Visa fee to be paid by getting a Demand Draft from any bank in

favor of ‘The British High Commission’ payable in New Delhi if submitting in Northern India, or in favor of ‘The British Deputy High Commission’ payable in Mumbai or Chennai depending on the submission location.

Authority Letter- If an applicant is not in a position to submit his/her application in person, under such circumstances it is mandatory that their representative /agent should produce an authority letter.
