Dear Friend,

Our exciting new Superbook® series introduces children to the adventure and wonder of knowing God through the stories of the Bible. Traveling from Creation to Revelation, this state-of-the-art animation will teach children powerful lessons about God’s love and plan, while keeping them wonderfully entertained.

Superbook: “The Road to Damascus” takes viewers back in time to the early days of Christianity, where we meet Saul of Tarsus and discover how he becomes the Apostle Paul. In this episode, you will witness how God miraculously transforms someone who wants to kill Christians into a missionary who is willing to die for the Gospel. You will see that the Lord wants to forgive you, no matter what you have done. Most importantly, you will learn that amazing change is always possible with God!

God will lead us if we listen and obey.

List five things that mothers and fathers tell their children to do. Why do you think parents say all these things? God is our Father in heaven—and like any good parent, He wants us to know what to do. Read what God says in Psalm 32:8.

Sometimes, like with Saul, God commands us to STOP what we are doing. Other times, like with Ananias, God tells us to GO! Read Acts 9:10-19.

If the Lord told you to go pray for someone who was hurting Christians, how would you feel—and what would you do?

Can you think of some ways that God speaks to us? Read Psalm 17:6 and Psalm 119:105. Has He ever spoken to your heart, and what did He say?

Big TrouBle STop and go u-Turn

Following Jesus isn’t always easy—but He is always there to help us!

It’s wonderful to be a Christian, yet sometimes we encounter hard times and difficult people. Why do you think people like Saul or Jason act the way they do? Read John 15:21.

If anyone has ever teased you or been mean because you believe in Jesus—how did you feel and what did you do? Read Romans 1:16.

The book of Acts describes how Christians were often in danger because of their faith. This is called persecution, and it still happens in some countries today.

Amazingly, Jesus says that something good can come out of persecution. Can you guess what it is? Read Luke 21:13-15. How does Jesus promise to help us when we tell others about Him?

No matter what you have done, God can help you change!

What are some ways you can tell that Saul and Jason really changed? God transformed Saul from someone who wanted to kill Christians into the Apostle Paul—a bold missionary and evangelist who wrote much of the New Testament and gave up His life for Jesus! Read what Paul wrote in 2 Corinthians 5:17.

God can change us, too! We may struggle with problems like getting too angry or not telling the truth. Can you share anything in your life that you want to change? Read 2 Peter 1:3. Can you think of some ways that the Lord can help you with this problem?

God can do anything—all we need to do is ask and trust Him! Read Luke 1:37.

PRAY: Dear God, fill me with Your power so I can be a witness for You. Please strengthen all the believers who are persecuted for their faith in You. Amen.

PRAY: Lord Jesus, You died on the cross so I could be changed into a new person. Please forgive me for all my sins, and help me become more like You every day. Amen.

PRAY: Heavenly Father, speak to me as I read the Bible, worship and pray. Help me obey You, even if it’s hard. And may I always be ready to “Go!” and do Your will. Amen.
