A healthy mouth is as easy as:

1. Baby teeth DO matter! Visit the dentist by age 1 or when the first tooth comes in around 6 months.

2. Brush 2 times a day for 2 minutes (in the morning and at bedtime). Floss 1 time a day once teeth start touching.

3. Help your child brush and floss until age 9.

4. Eat more fruits and vegetables. Limit sugary foods.

5. Drink water when thirsty. Limit juices, sports drinks and sodas.

6. Visit the dentist 2 times a year for checkups and cleanings.

This brochure is a quick and easy way to help families in Tarrant County and surrounding areas find dental resources. This includes services for those who qualify for government funding, or have low-income status.

Dallas Texas A&M College of DentistryMust come in for a screening exam to determine eligibility. Medicaid/CHIP insurance accepted for children age 14 or younger. Adults: $281 for initial screening, exam and X-rays, other fees vary. Children: $5 for screening, other fees vary.

Euless JPS Northeast Dental Must live in Tarrant County. Accepts CIGNA. Dental urgent care available. Call for appointment.

Fort Worth Beautiful Feet Ministries Homeless seen first (bring letter from shelter or scan card), then residents in ZIP codes 76102, 76103, 76104 and 76112 with proof of address and all others next. Walk-ins only. Sign-up begins daily at 8 a.m. Extractions only. Call for hours.Adults: no fee for service.

Catholic Charities DentalFollows federal poverty guidelines at or below 200%. Currently accepting only cash payments. Adults: $50 for first exam, X-ray and consultation. Children: $35 for first exam. Other charges are based on the individual’s treatment plan.
