    Parents invited to free Q&A on childrens health, development

    PORTSMOUTH All parents are invited to bring their questions about childhood illnesses, summer-safety issues, child development and any other child-health topics to a Q&A session with Charae Spuler, PNP-BC, a board-certified pediatric nurse practitioner at Families First Health and Support Center in Portsmouth.The session, which is free and open to the public, will be held May 17 from 6 to7:30 p.m. at Families First, located at the Community Campus in Portsmouth.     e child care, including dinner for children, is available for those who sign upin advance at 603-422-8208 ext. 2.A graduate of Gordon College and the MGH Institute of Health Professions, Ms. Spuler worked as a pediatric nurse practitioner for more than 10 years, first at Childrens Hospital in Philadelphia and then at private pediatric practices in the Boston area, before joining Families First in April 2010. She is also a part-timefaculty member at the MGH Institute for Health Professions.Families First, the Seacoasts community health center, provides affordable primary,prenatal and oral health care; many parenting classes and family programs; one-on-one support for families facing particular challenges; and mobile health carefor people who are homeless.
