    People for Cats - Kitties and Kittens for Adoption Produced by Anne Leavitt People for Cats, a no kill shelter, finds homes for adoptable cats and kittens. This episode showcases current cats at the shelter available for adoption. MIT Lecture Series- Marconi Wireless Produced by Robert Hinrichs This is an hour long presentation and short documentary on Macaroni’s Wireless Transmission station located in South Welfleet, MA, where the first trans-Atlantic transmission occurred in 1903. 2012 FCTV Year in Review Produced by Keith Hopkins This video of FCTV productions and highlights from the 2012 year was presented to FCTV members during the Annual Meeting of Members on May 23, 2013. Also included are interviews with the 2012 FCTV award recipients. Falmouth High School 2013 Spring Concert Produced by Ryan Webber A recording of the 2013 Spring concert by Falmouth High School’s Concert Band, Concert Choir, Jazz Band and Jazz Choir. St@r Trek Produced by FCTV Youth Producers This short Star Trek parody was conceived by one of FCTV’s Youth producers, Miguel McGrath, using the FCTV control room as the set for the Starship Enterprise. An Underwater Adventure Produced by Bob Fenstermaker Attach a GoPro to an automatic pool vacuum, drop it in the water, and entertain audiences for hours on end!

    ORIENTATION This one-hour class is offered each month to all new members and open to the public. There is no obligation to attend this one-session course but it is mandatory for anyone wanting to take other training or use FCTV facilities. Learn more about FCTV. Thursday: June 6, 6:00-7:00 pm Open to the public and newcomers welcome! Prerequisite: None INTRO to FIELD PRODUCTION This four-session course (including one supervised field shoot) is designed for anyone interested in creating a public access television show out in the field. The course is a hands-on training using FCTV’s JVC HD field camcorders and several optional accessories. Certification is granted upon completion of a final project in addition to scheduled classes. Mondays: June 24; July 1, 8, 15, 7:00 - 9:00 pm Prerequisite: Orientation and Membership ADVANCED FIELD PRODUCTION This two-session course, teaches participants how to setup field shoots using the Anycast and Compix systems, multiple cameras and wireless headsets. Sundays: June 2, 9, 3:00 - 5:00 pm Prerequisite: Intro to Field Production INTRO to STUDIO PRODUCTION In this four-session course, participants learn how to produce their own timely or live “in-studio” television programs with little or no post-production needed. Hands-on instruction includes all the basics required to produce a multi-camera television show: camera and control room operations, audio, lighting, technical and floor directing. Fridays: June 14, 21, 28; July 5, 2:00 - 4:00 pm Prerequisite: Orientation and Membership ADVANCED STUDIO PRODUCTION This three-session course expands on directing, audio mixing, and lighting techniques. Wednesdays: June 12, 19, 26, 7:00 - 9:00 pm Prerequisite: Intro to Studio Production WEBSITE DESIGN This three-session seminar will focus on how to build, organize, and maintain a website for personal or business use with the popular free and open source content management system, WordPress. Prerequisite: None Mondays: June 17, 24; July 1, 6:00 - 9:00 pm *Fee: $45.00 for FCTV members, $90.00 for non-members INTRO to ANIMATION* This one-session class introduces participants to several animation techniques including 2D and 3D traditional animation as well as 2D and 3D computer animation. Character and story development techniques are discussed and multiple films are screened in order to showcase each animation technique. Tuesday: June 11, 7:00 - 8:30 pm *Fee: $10.00 for non-members. Prerequisite: None 2D TRADITIONAL ANIMATION* During this four-session class, participants create a drawn ‘metamorphosis’ cycle animation and build two-dimensional cut out puppets. The drawn cycles and cut out puppets are incorporated into a multi-plane animation shoot using Dragonframe. Look forward to seeing the final composited animation sequences on Channel 13. Fees cover puppet building materials, paper and drawing tools. Fridays: June 21, 28; July 12, 19; 2:00 - 4:30 pm *Fee: $25.00 for FCTV members, $50.00 for non-members. Prerequisite: Intro to Animation 2D COMPUTER ANIMATION – ADOBE FLASH* This one-session class introduces participants to the basics of using Adobe’s Flash for 2D computer animation. Thursday: June 13, 7:00 - 9:00 pm *Fee: $50.00 for non-members. Prerequisite: Introduction to Animation COMPUTER GRAPHICS – ANIMATION* This one-session course is designed for people who want to understand how to animate 3D computer sculptures using Blender, the free, open-source computer software program. The basic concepts of computer-based animation are covered and all the main components of Blender’s workbench are explained. Three unique animation workflows are demonstrated so that the pros and cons of each method can be discussed. Thursday: June 6, 7:00 - 9:00 pm *Fee: $50.00 for non-members. Prerequisite: Introduction to Animation STOP MOTION ANIMATION* During this four-session class, participants build their own wire armature puppets, build an animation stage as a group and shoot an animation sequence that will air on Channel 13. Fees cover puppet and set building materials. Thursdays: June 20, 27; July 11, 18, 6:00 - 8:30 pm *Fee: $25.00 FCTV members, $50.00 for non-members Prerequisite: Introduction to Animation

Water Quality Management Committee Meetings Watch as the important issue of water quality in Falmouth takes form.
