We will stay overnight at the Canopy Hotel, located right on the Commons, a wonderful outdoor pedestrian mall lined with shops and cafes. Dinner is on your own. (B, L)

Day 3: Wednesday, October 12 — Ithaca, NY Enjoy breakfast at the hotel before departing for a full-day guided tour. In Auburn, we will stop at Willard Chapel, the only complete Tiffany Chapel in the world, to enjoy a private organ recital. Experience the Finger Lakes Sweet Treat Trail, a trail all about local, unique sweets and treats. We will make several stops along the trail – farmers’ markets, bakeries, farm stands, ice cream stands and cafes. Stop and take photos at the It’s a Wonderful Life Bridge – Frank Kapra used Seneca Falls for the inspiration for Bedford Falls in the movie, It’s a Wonderful Life. After enjoying lunch, travel along the west side of Lake Cayuga on

The Cayuga Wine Trail. The soil and proximity to the lake make this an ideal grape growing region. We will tour and enjoy a tasting at a winery. On our way back to Ithaca, we will stop at the Taughannock Falls Overlook to see the grandest of falls. At 215 feet, it is higher than Niagara Falls! Once back in Ithaca, we will make our way to Coltivare, Ithaca’s downtown culinary center. Dinner is at the farm-to-table restaurant of Tompkins Cortland Community College where we will enjoy a special meal with a wine presentation by an experienced sommelier! (B, D)

Next, we will enjoy a narrated cruise on Seneca Lake, the longest of the Finger Lakes, as we pass pastoral landscapes and quaint villages. Along the way, we will stop at Glenora Winery, a beautiful winery located on Seneca Lake. It is the oldest winery on the lake and an ideal spot for a tour and tasting. For dinner, we will
