Understanding how children communicate & self regulate is crucial for rewarding interactions with them. This workshop will provide information on ways to effectively communicate with school aged children, providing practical tips on how to manage challenging behaviours while building positive relationships, as well as emphasis on establishing better home/school collaborations. We will look at a variety of age groups & mental health disorders, discussing communication styles, strategies & support mechanisms that can be implemented when working in school based environments.
