Amending Agreement of the Kunst'aa guu - Kunst'aayah Reconciliation Protocol

BETWEEN:

HAIDA NATION, as represented by the Council of the Haida Nation (“Haida Nation”)

AND:

HER MAJESTY THE QUEEN IN RIGHT OF THE PROVINCE OF BRITISH COLUMBIA, as represented by the Minister of Aboriginal Relations and Reconciliation (“British Columbia”)

WHEREAS:

A. The Parties entered into the Kunst'aa guu - Kunst'aayah Reconciliation Protocol (the “Protocol”), dated December 11, 2009, attached to this Amending Agreement (“Fall 2015 Amending Agreement”) as Appendix 1.

B. The Parties wish to extend the duration of the funding for the Protocol for an additional five year period, commencing April 1, 2015.

THEREFORE, the above Parties agree as follows:

1.0 This Fall 2015 Amending Agreement may be signed in counterparts and exchanged by electronic means of transmission. Together, all counterparts constitute one Fall 2015 Amending Agreement.

2.0 This Fall 2015 Amending Agreement takes effect on the date that it is signed by all Parties.

3.0 Except as expressly amended by this Fall 2015 Amending Agreement, the Parties confirm that the Protocol and this Fall 2015 Amending Agreement shall be read and construed as one document.
