Maggart, Cindy, Makayla, Alyssia, Makayla Hanvey (Cindy’s Great niece), Cody (the young foster child that went last year). Thank you Faith Missionary Baptist Church!

God With Us Ladies Fellowship Lisa Parker did a wonderful job speaking at our fellowship Tuesday night. She taught us about our personalities and how God can use us no matter what “type” we fall into. She used examples of the men God used like Paul, Moses, Peter and Abraham. We had a light turn out but still had at least 4 churches represented. Thanks to all the Faith ladies that came and supported! We will have no fellowship in June, July and August to give time for each of us to support our sister churches revival efforts.

We love our visitors!! We are very glad to have any visitors that may be in our midst today, and we appreciate the fact that you have chosen to join us in worshipping our Lord and Savior. In the past few weeks, we have been blessed to have visitors every Sunday. Let’s welcome everyone who enters our doors and pray that we all will receive a blessing from being in God’s house today.

Addy Clark Update We had an appointment in the clinic to see the doctor today. Addy decided late last night that we needed to bake a cake for her nurses and doctors. So that is what we did !! They loved it : ) while we were there Addy got to see Hunter and Kaydyn. These three are a mess together. Addy had to get her 3 month shot today and did excellent as always. The doctor talked a little more with us about the new chemo. She will have to have a hearing test and kidney function tests before started the chemo. This type of chemo could cause her to loose her hearing. Because she has already lost most of her vision they do not want her to loose her hearing also. they will be keeping a close watch on it. It also effects her kidney functions so that will also be closely monitored too. She will be going in patient the week of June 11th for her first round of chemo. We know that the side effects from this chemo are harsher then any she has been on.

Addy has been asking for a vacation away from her doctors and chemo for a while now and has wanted to see the beach. She has never been to the beach before. We wanted her to be able to see it before her vision was completely gone. We leave Friday to spend a week at the beach with family. This is going to be a much needed vacation for us. We are looking forward to relaxing and not having to worry about appointments or chemo. So grateful for my parents for making this trip possible. Addy is so excited ! There are so many things I want her to see and do before her vision is completely gone. So glad that she is getting to see and experience the ocean before that happens. Please pray that this new chemo will be effective and the side effects will not be severe. We are thankful we still have options for our sweet girl ! There are many who don't have an option and are in a lot worse circumstances than us. Our eyes are opened more and more to what the important things in life are. Thank you to everyone who continually prays for Addy and our family. Your prayers mean so much to us. Love and blessings, The Clark Family.

Pastor’s comments Three weeks from tonight is the beginning of our Effort Meeting. We need to ask ourselves some questions; What kind of effort am I going to make? How often will I attend? How much will I pray? How many people will I ask to attend? How well am I prepared to do my part?

All of us are needed to have the best meeting possible. God gives the increase, but He expects some work from us first.

James 2:17-18 "Even so faith, if it has not works, is dead, being alone. Yea, a man may say, Thou hast faith, and I have works: shew me thy faith without thy works, and I will shew thee my faith by my works."
