We will continue to be a leader in services for seniors in Georgetown and advocate for coordinated senior services in the community. Services: Services are volunteer based and provided free of charge. Services include: Transportation to appointments, Handyman services, Care calling and visits, Information and referral, Running errands, and a Medical equipment closet. Mission: To be an advocate for seniors by providing volunteer services through a non-profit organization to help seniors maintain independence and quality of life. Volunteering: We have 167 active volunteers, most of which are drivers. They are the heart of Faith in Action Georgetown. Funding: All services are supported by contributions from sponsoring churches, civic groups, individuals, and grants. Clients: To qualify for services, clients must be a resident of the Georgetown area and be 65 years or older. We currently serve 500 clients. Faith in Action Georgetown
