18th ART Innsbruck closed with excellent salesbalance

Despite the springlike weather on the final fair day, the this year

attendance of the ART Innsbruck, that ended on Sunday evening, were

with almost 18 000 obviously over the record result of the previous year.

The round 70 exhibitors of the 18th ART Innsbruck announced

consistently great interest and very good sales, furthermore a lot of

gallery owners expect following business deals out of it.

“Not often was the fair that relaxed like this year”, summed Johanna Penz,

foundress and director of ART Innsbruck the last four fair days. “It seems like

the fair really grew up” smirk Penz, who got from her 70 exhibitors on Sunday

evening consistently a very good feedback of the response and the process of

the fair. “Especially our first time exhibitors were really impressed of the

candidness and the active interest of the ART-audience. Particularly big

response produced the sensational special exhibition of the gallery Rhomberg

“Le Corbusie & The Authentic Icons” with original graphics and furniture

classics, as well as the exhibition sequel of the Russian neo-impressionist

Vladimir Valentsov “Colors of Tyrol”, curated and promoted by M.Video

Moskau. Of course also this year uncompromised the own credo to offer the

audience an art fair which “is not specialised to one kind of art, but bother

about a high levelled offering spectrum.” the foundress and director of ART

Innsbruck follows since the beginning a clear line: “We only feel constrained

compared to our audience and our exhibitors. They should feel comfortable,

they should come back again, because they made special and unique

experiences. To start with exhilarating talks to the point of magical moment

when you’re buying art.“ Actually it is simple: “When we see a lot of beamed

faces with joy in the stands and threw the hallways of the fair, that’s the

moment when we know we did a good job.”, said the stroked fair maker, who is

after the disassembling of the 18th ART Innsbruck already thinking about the

next art fair.
