Newsletter - September 1983IBL Bank - Beirut selected ICBS as a core banking system. IBL - Bank is still using ICBS.

20 years ago:

Newsletter - Q3, 1993Banorabe is now renamed BLOM Bank (France). The bank was our 4th client in France after Citibank, Banque Populaire and BCM Banque. BLOM Bank (France) is still an ICBS user.

10 years ago:

Newsletter Q3, 2003Bank of Syria and Overseas (BSO), member of the BLOM Bank Group, selected ICBS for its Syrian subsidiary. BSO is still using ICBS. BLOM Group is now using ICBS, in addition to Syria, in the UK, France, Romania, Qatar, Dubai, Sharjah and in Lebanon for BLOM Development Bank, its Islamic banking subsidiary.

An Oracle Mega Event was organized by Oracle at the Phoenicia Intercontinental-Beirut on 17/09/2013.BML Istisharat, Certified Oracle Partner, sponsored the event wi th Inte l , ACT, Primeware and Logos.Mr. Raji Challita, Software Director at BML, gave a presentation on ''Keeping Up With Trends & Innovations as a Competitive Advantage''. (See photo).Local and International Customers were invited to the event. Among our customers present was Mr. Savvas Georgiou (See photo) from Alpha Insurance - Cyprus, a CIRIS and LIRIS user, as well as Mr. Ghassan Haddad from Sogecap - Lebanon, a LIRIS user.

Mr. Béchara Jabaji (Notre - Dame University - NDU), Mr. Sani Kiwan (AmericanUniversity of Beirut) and Mr. Saeid Eid (American University of Beirut) joined the ICBS Banking team.Miss Sana Kifah (Lebanese American University), Mr. Elias Hayek (Université Saint Joseph - USJ) and Mr. Daniel Bou Malhab (Université Saint Joseph - USJ) joined the CIRIS/LIRIS Insurance team.Miss Ranine Abi Rached (Université Saint Esprit de Kaslik - USEK) joined the IMAD ERP team.Mr. Carl Kassar (Université Saint Joseph - USJ) joined the Oracle team.

The internship started with a 3 weeks course related to Oracle Developer Suite and to BML Istisharat programming standards.The course was administered by Dr. Mohammed Khoushkhoush from Metis Consultancy (See photos).
