Program Sample Itinerary Day/Date Activity

Day 1: Monday, 11th June 2018: Arrive in Sydney - Australia

Morning: Arrive in Sydney. Afternoon: Group meeting at 2pm at accommodation meeting point. familiarisation tour of Sydney, and introduction workshop Evening: Sydney Harbour Cruise, afterwards we head to dinner at a local restaurant.

Day 2: Tuesday, 12th June 2018: Sydney

Morning: Industry visit in Sydney Afternoon: Free afternoon and evening to explore Sydney.

Day 3: Wednesday, 13th June 2018: Sydney

Morning: Second industry visit in Sydney Afternoon: guided tour to step back into Sydney’s Colonial History & Heritage

Day 4: Thursday, 14th June 2018: Sydney

Morning: Seminar/workshop 1 (3 hours). Afternoon: Third industry visit in Sydney

Day 5: Friday, 15th June 2018: Sydney

Morning: Fourth industry visit Afternoon: After lunch there is some free time for group discussions of research projects, progress of journals, reflections on media visits and personal time. Evening: Group dinner on a roof top bar and restaurant overlooking the Harbour and Opera house.

Day 7: Sunday, 17th June 2018: Sydney - Canberra

Morning: Depart Sydney and drive via coach approx. 3 hours to Canberra. Arrive at University of Canberra. Afternoon: Old Depot Markets, City orientation tour, Mount Ainslie

Day 8: Monday, 18th June 2018: Canberra

Morning: Tour local cultural attractions including Australian War Memorial (AWM), National Portrait Gallery and the Australian National Gallery. Afternoon: Seminar/workshop 2

Day 9: Tuesday, 19th June 2018: Canberra

Morning: On campus: Seminar and guest representatives talk about marketing and sponsorship. Lunch: UC Student Societies (advertising and public relations) Afternoon: Group discussion (discussion and reflections on presentations, progress and research reports.)
