This Masterclass is designed to offer Consultant Interventional Cardiologists and final year Cardiology Trainees, who are already familiar with the principles and technologies utilised in physiological lesion assessment, a greater understanding of the role of coronary physiology in clinical practice when treating patients with coronary artery disease.

Following the meeting the participants will be better able to identify patients who will benefit from physiological assessment, including those with multivessel coronary disease and complex lesion subsets. They will also be able to interpret data appropriately during clinical decision making. They will be made aware of current world wide literature supporting the use of coronary physiology in the Cardiac Catheter Laboratory and the role of physiological measurements in specific clinical situations including acute coronary syndrome and microvascular dysfunction.
