About KIET

About FDP

Today the profession of Pharmacy teaching has become quite challenging. Pharmacy teachers are expected to be effective in both teaching and research. In the cur rent scenar io , where Pharmacology profession is switching from pre-clinical to clinical, Pharmacology teachers have to play an emergent role on the growing concern about "knowledge skills” and “theory-practice gap”. Keeping in view about integration of Pharmacovigilance with pharmacology, this FDP is aimed at honing the basic, clinical pharmacology teaching and research for new and seasoned Pharmacy teachers those who are keen to update their knowledge in Pharmacology.

Programme Objectives

Ø The programme is aimed to give a holistic view on advances in Pharmacology

Ø The programme aims at equipping teachers with skills and knowledge that are essential for correlating the basic and clinical Pharmacology.

Ø To update the teachers with PCI New syllabus.

Outcome

The programme will provide the teachers with hands-on experience with the advances in basic, clinical research and Pharmacovigilance, which in turn will impart this knowledge to the students for their professional and career advancement.
