LONDON HEATHROW TERMINAL 4To better suit our customers’ needs, SkyTeam member air-
lines collaborated to build the alliance’s presence at London
Heathrow’s Terminal 4, and opened a shared facility and a
two-floor SkyTeam Exclusive Lounge in 2009.
All SkyTeam members co-located at Heathrow share airport
services, including check-in desks, self-service kiosks and
bag drop off locations at SkyTeam’s first exclusive premium
check-in area.
A top SkyTeam objective is to provide the quality service and
high-end comfort that customers expect – and this spacious
facility has been designed to exceed those expectations with
its luxury amenities and enhanced passenger benefits.

SKYTEAM PREMIUM CHECK-IN AREA
Terminal 4 features a Premium Check-in Area – an ex-
clusive zone for SkyTeam’s First, Business and Premium
Economy as well as SkyTeam Elite and Elite Plus pas-
sengers.
With check-in agents to assist passengers at any of the
10 self-service kiosks and 14 check-in desks, the area
provides a distinct experience for SkyTeam premium
passengers traveling through LHR.

SkyTeam understands that airport lounges are more
than just waiting rooms for the frequent traveler. They
serve as a home-from-home for passengers – a place to
work, relax, dine or catch up on reading. In planning the
lounge space, SkyTeam focused on offering customers
a superior lounge experience.
Designed by Brandimage – Desgrippes & Laga, the
creative concept for the SkyTeam Exclusive Lounge is
one that is truly unique, high-end, multi-cultural and
reflective of SkyTeam’s personality.
SKYTEAM EXCLU-SIVE LOUNGE BY THE NUMBERS
• 1600 square meters • More than 300 guest capacity • 34 employees • 3 full body massage chairs and 5 show-ers in the Wellness Centre, including one with disabled facil-ities • 2 VIP meeting rooms available in the VIP area • More than 60 differ-ent species of plants comprise the living wall, all specifically selected to adapt to the climatic lounge conditions • 4 day beds avail-able in the quiet area • 7 personal comput-ers and 2 work sta-tions available in the business area
