FACTS provides multi-model, multi-forcing climate experiments to help understand and predict changes in climate and weather. Experiments are designed to study the eects of realtime evolving modes of ocean variability (e.g. ENSO, PDO, AMO) on observed weather/climate extremes. Provides a capability for the research community to study the causes of atmospheric climate variability. Exploring the Causes of Climate Variations Why FACTS? •  FACTS provides multi-model, multi-forcing climate

experiments to help understand and predict changes in climate and weather.

•  Experiments are designed to study the effects of real‐time evolving modes of ocean variability (e.g. ENSO, PDO, AMO) on observed weather/climate extremes.

•  Provides a capability for the research community to study the causes of atmospheric climate variability.

Sharing Data Search and Download •  Open access to FACTS climate model output •  Easily search through 25 TB of data •  Download for further analysis

Interactive Visualization Comparisons •  Model to model •  Experiment to experiment •  Changes over time •  Correlations with climate indices

Documenting the Process •  Documentation of forcings for each experiment •  Comparison of variables between models •  Model sources and configurations

Future Plans •  Additional statistical capabilities •  Additional experiments, ensembles and models •  Annual updates to datasets
