Building Relationships, Trust, and Rapport In order to get to the point of being able to prospect someone you need have at least a basic level of relationship and trust built. This is done by spending time with people, asking questions, sharing jokes, finding common interests you both have and simply talking about it. I know that seems rather basic but for some reason when people get into network marketing we lose our basic social skills because in the back of our minds we want to recruit the person and can’t wait to ask them to view a presentation or join the company. A basic rule of thumb is you wouldn’t feel comfortable meeting the person in person or asking them to a movie I probably wouldn’t prospect them yet. The best mentality to have is to pretend that you are at a party, social
gathering, or church and just making friendships. Remove and detach any addiction you may have to the outcome of someone viewing, attending, or joining a company or presentation. When you have removed that from your mind and can simply focus on networking and relationship building, then you are ready to use the following scripts in this book.
General Prospecting To People You Don’t Know 1. Hey What’s Up? 2. What do you do 3. What does that entail? 4. How long have you been doing that? 5. What did you do before? 6. How are you being affected by what’s happening with the economy? 7. How do you like what you’re doing? 8. Have you ever thought about doing anything else? 9. Are you familiar with the network marketing industry? 10. What experience did you have? 11. Why do you think you weren’t successful? 12. Would you be open to looking at another company that didn’t have
those same obstacles?
Questions for Network Marketers 1. Are you doing the business full time or part time? 2. If part time, what is your full time job? 3. Are you building a business or just using the products? 4. How long have you been in it? 5. Is this your first experience in network marketing? 6. If not, what was your first networking experience? 7. How many other companies did you try? 8. How are you doing so far? 9. Why did you get involved with network marketing in the first place? 10. Are you happy with the money you're making? 11. Why do you think you couldn't make money in the business? 12. Would you be open to looking at another company that didn't have those obstacles?
Questions for College Students 1. What are you studying/majoring in? 2. Are you a full time or part time student? 3. (If part time.) What kind of work do you do? 4. When do you plan on graduating? 5. What will you do when you graduate? 6. How are you paying for your education? 7a. A lot of students have turned to the Internet to make extra or even full time income, have you ever considered doing anything like that? 7b. Why do you think you weren't successful? 10. Would you say you’re a decent learner or coachable? 11. Would you be open to looking at how you could work online with me

Questions for Sales Professionals 1. What do you sell? 2. How long have you been doing this? 3. What lead you to getting into ___________? 4. Are you doing this full time or part time? 5. If part time, what is your full time job? 6. What did you do before? 7. How much did it cost you to get started? 8. What do you make when you make a sale? 9. How much are you spending on your business each month? 10. How do you get your leads? 11. Are you making enough to cover your expenses? 12. Are you happy with the money you're making? 13. What are you doing that creates residual income?
14. With your skillset and experience, have you ever considered
promoting/selling things that produce residual income for you? 15. If I could show you a way you could start making a residual income
without interfering with your current job would you be open to looking at what I’m doing?
Questions for Online Marketers and Affiliates 1. What are you promoting online to generate income? 2. Are you doing this full time or part time? 3. If part time, what is your full time job? 4. How long have you been doing this? 5. How is it working for you? 6. What network marketing company are you building? 7. Why arenít you building a network marketing business too? 8. How many other network marketing companies have you tried? 9. How much did it cost you to get started with this system? 10. What does it cost you monthly? 11. What do you make when someone buys the system through you? 12. Are you happy with the money you're making? 13. Why do you think you couldn’t make money in your network
marketing business?

work and headaches of traditional network marketing?
Opinion Respect Approach Hey _________ I know you have been very successful in __xyx business__
and I recently started my own business. I was wondering if you be willing to take a look at what I’m doing and give me your honest feedback on what I am doing? Can you help me out?
4 Step Invite 1. Be busy or in a hurry. If you are not currently busy, go get busy
because I want you to operate in full integrity. “Hey ________, look I don’t have a lot of time right now.” 2. Clear the Date. “What do you have going on Xo’clock today.” If they
are busy, “no worries, I’ll catch you another time. I gotta run.” 3. Show Sincerity. “I’ve got something you got to see, can you be in
front of a computer X o’clock? Or Can you meet me at XYZ location at X o’clock?” if your prospect asks what it is or what your doing, refer back to step 1 – “I don’t have a lot of time right now, But I promise ill tell you everything at X o’clock, talk to you then.”
4. Confirm the Date. Call them or meet with them at that time
Closing Questions What did you like best about the video you just watched? If your prospect talks a lot or more than 2 minutes immediately go into: Sounds like your ready to get started = YES OR NO!!!! If they give you a short answer say: I like that part to, what else do you like? Or Tell me more about that If your willing to follow my lead and watch our training, could you see
yourself being successful? (optional) Who are the first 2 people you would like to share this with?
Why? Are you ready to get started now? Based on what you know is there any reason not to get started now? Take information and sign up or personally walk through the sign up
process online. (I prefer to write down people’s information and enter it into the system myself and then throw away that piece of paper so I don’t have their info)
Overcoming Objection Scripts 1. Always handle one objection at a time and isolate the objection. 2. Acknowledge that you hear them and/or understand, do not just plow over what they are saying. Objections are good as they are considering joining/buying
Most objections are not bad, its an opportunity to help someone get out of their own way. You can’t help people if they don’t join. 3. Say. I understand. Sounds like you are ready to get started but you have a concern about ____, is that right?
YES BUT just not right now…. I understand. Sounds like you are ready to get started you just have a concern about getting started today? Let them know they can call back anytime but you are constantly putting people in and as you start working with other entrepreneurs you may not be able to take them on board and its possible you will have to refer them to someone else. But if you know this is something you want to do what's keeping you from taking action now? Yes BUT I don’t have the money I understand. Sounds like you are ready to get started you just have a concern about the investment right now? -‐-‐-‐work with them on their fear. -‐-‐-‐ask them if money weren’t an issue would they do this now -‐-‐-‐ask how long they have been asking their bank account for permission to do what they are here to do -‐-‐-‐Ask them what it will cost them NOT to do your program and stay on the same path they are on.
-‐-‐-‐Ask them if they were coaching themselves what would they say to themselves? -‐-‐-‐Ask them to imagine themselves 9=12 months into the future and they have the result they shared with you that they wanted. Ask them how much it would be worth to them to have that result. I Have to Pray About It “I am so happy to hear that you a person that considers things by prayer. I am as well. Lets pray together…” When you pray it should be clear to both of you what’s the right direction otherwise you are dealing with someone who is insincere and using God as an out or an excuse to not move forward. The truth is that they have been praying already for a change or help. Right now is really the time for them to choose to move forward in this or not to do it at all. I let them know they can always call back later and pay the normal full investment in the future.
Final Close It’s very simple to get you started. All I need to hear is a yes and we can move forward together. Great are you in front of a computer? (walk them through the sign up process and stay on the phone or with them the entire time, do not let them do it later because it will not happen 9 times out of 10)
Invitation To Discover Online Marketing with Ron By now you have learned a bit more of the skillset you must carry in order to be a great recruiter inside of the network marketing and the home based business industry. This script book is primarily focused on social media prospecting. Now without people to talk to you DO NOT have a business. A car lot does have a business without customers. Right now even the best networker on the planet can maybe talk to a few hundred people in a day. Right now the average internet marketer can expose the business to several thousand people a day…and without getting on the phone. The key is to leverage yourself and efforts in a systematic way that removes you from the process so people can be taken along a journey to get to know you, your company, and why they will want to work with you.
