Pankaj Agarwal: We had placed the order for Vacuum system for steel de-gassing in June 2012 and as per the agreed schedule the Vacuum system was delivered to us in December 2012.
PA: We were looking for small foot print, low maintenance and ener-gy efficient vacuum system, which clearly helps to minimise the op-eration costs and CO2 emissions.
PA: We are satisfied with design of the vacuum system, its simple operation and built in redundancy which is deliv-ering high quality results as per our re-quirement and there is continuous pro-duction without any interruptions. Their design allows for easy access ensuring fast maintenance and service. We liked very much the redundant design which warrants highest uptime and are op-erated by smart control, programmed according to our requirements.
PA: The quality of steel produced by us is meeting international standards; we are thankful to Oerlikon Leybold Vacuum system which is giving us required process optimisation and pump out time. We liked very much the pre-programmed ramps for avoid-ing the slag over boiling (foaming).
