FA20CLUB FLEX FUEL KIT INSTRUCTIONS FIRST YOU WILL NEED TO DETACH THE FUEL FEED LINE FROM THE HARDLINE ON THE DRIVER SIDE CHASSIS LEG. THE LINE IS HELD ON WITH A SCREW CLAMP THAT CAN BE REMOVED WITH A SMALL PHIOLLIPS HEAD SCREW DRIVER. THE CORRECT LINE IS PICTURED HERE YOU WILL FOLLOW THIS LINE TO WHERE IT CONNECTS TO THE FACTORY HARD LINE ON THE CHASSIS LEG AND DISCONNECT IT THERE. THEN TAKE THAT LINE AND INSERT THE ADDITIONAL QUICK CONNECT FITTING THAT WAS SENT WITH THE KIT AND SECURE IT USING THE SUPPLIED CLAMP. THE LINE WITH THE PRECRIMPED FITTING WILL CONNECT TO THE OTHER SIDE OF THE FLEX FUEL SENSOR AND CONNECT TO THE FACTORY HARD LINE WHERE YOU REMOVED THE ORIGINAL LINE FROM WITH THE 2ND CLAMP. THAT COMPLETES THE FUEL LINE CONNECTIONS. EITHER SIDE OF THE SENSOR IS FINE, THERE IS NO FLOW VARIANTION ON THE TUBES. IN THIS PICTURE YOU SEE THE SENSOR MOUNTED JUST ABOVE THE LINE TO THE FACTORY INJECTOR RAIL COVER. THIS IS PREFERRED IF YOU HAVE EITHER PERRIN OR GRIMMSPEED CLUTCH MASTER BRACES.

FA20CLUB FLEX FUEL KIT INSTRUCTIONS

FIRST YOU WILL NEED TO DETACH THE FUEL FEED LINE FROM THE HARDLINE ON THE DRIVER SIDE CHASSIS LEG. THE LINE IS HELD ON WITH A SCREW CLAMP THAT CAN BE REMOVED WITH A SMALL PHIOLLIPS HEAD SCREW DRIVER. THE NEXT IMAGE SHOWS HOW WE MOUNT IT WHEN YOU DONT HAVE A CLUTCH BRACE. TO THE SIDE OF THE DRIVER SICE SHOCK TOWER. THERE ARE MOUNT LOCATIONS THAT THE SENSORS BOLT HOLES LINE UP TO. USE THE SUPPLIED SPACERS AND THE 6MMX1.0 TO ATTACH TO THE SIDE OF THE SHOCK TOWER. THIS WILL REQUIRE THE REMOVAL OF A NON ESSENTIAL BRACKET.

ONCE THE SENSOR IS MOUNTED AND THE FACTORY FEED LINE ATTACHED NOW YOU CAN CONNECT THE SUPPLIED FUEL LINE TO THE OTHER SIDE OF THE FLEX FUEL SENSOR. THEN ROUTE IT ACCORDINGLY TO PREVENT KINKS. THIS COMPLETES ALL FUEL LINE RELATED CONNECTIONS. THAT WAS EASY ENOUGH.

NEXT ATTACH THE HARNESS CONNECTOR TO THE FLEX FUEL SENSOR AND YOU WILL HAVE TO ROUTE IT AROUND THE REAR OF THE MOTOR TO GET TO THE PASSENSGER FUSE BOX. USE THE SUPPLIED ZIP TIES TO ATTACT IT TO THE ENGINE HARNESS AS YOU GO. THE ADD-A-FUSE CONNECTOR WILL PLUG INTO AND OPEN IGNITION BASED FUSE NEXT TO WIPER MOTOR FUSE IN THE EMPTY SLOT NEXT TO IT. THE GROUND RING CAN BE ATTACHED TOT THE CHASSIS HERE......

GROUNDING POINT IS RIGHT BEHIND THE PASSENGER SIDE SHOCK TOWER. THERE IS ALREADY A PREXISTING ENGINE GROUND THERE YOU CAN ADD OURS TO THE SAME LOCATION.

THE LONG LEAD WIRE WITH THE 3 PIN CONNECTOR WILL GO THROUGH THE FIREWALL TO THE LEFT OF THE BRAKE BOOSTER THROUGH THE FACTORY ROUND PLUG. YOU CAN SIMPLY MAKE A SMALL HOLE OR SLIT IN THE PLUG TO RUN THE WIRE THOUGH.

AFTER THE WIRE IS RUN INSIDE THE CABIN YOU WILL PLUG IT INTO THE CONTENT ANALYZER.

THE CONTENT ANALYZER HAS A FEW WIRES BUT WE WILL ONLY BE USING 1 OF THEM. NEXT WE WILL NEED TO MAKE THE NECESSARY CONNECTIONS TO THE ECU. ECU IS LOCATED ABOVE THE PASSENGER LEG COMPARTMENT UNDER THE DASH. YOU WILL NEED TO CONNECT ONLY WHITE/BLUE WIRE TO THE ECU PIN DISPLAYED BELOW.

*****THE LASTEST VERSION OF THE KIT ONLY REQUIRE YOU TO CONNECT THE OUTPUT WIRE TO PIN C20 ON THE ECU. POWER AND GROUND CONNECTIONS ARE ALREADY TAKEN CARE OF.*****

USE THIS DIAGRAM FOR MAKING THE CONNECTIONS TO THE ECU. THIS IMAGE IS BASED ON THE USER LOOKING AT THE HARNESS PLUG WITH THE WIRES FACING AWAY FROM YOU NOT FROM THE WIRE SIDE OF THE PLUG. THE FINAL CONNECTION IS THE ANALYZERS WHITE/BLUE WIRE MUST BE CONNECTED TO THE ECU PIN C20. THIS WIRE MUST BE CUT AND CONNECTED DIRECTLY TO THE CONTENT ANALYZER AND RUN INTO THE ECU CONNECTOR. PLEASE LEAVE AMPLE ENOUGH ROOM WHEN SEVERING THE WIRE INCASE YOU WISH TO RECONNECT THE WIRE IN THE NEAR FUTURE.
