The FlowMeter has been developed to allowthe removal and insertion of the Orifice Plate,with speed and quality, facilitating its operationin the field, without the need of disassembly ofthe pipe. It has a pressure tap and a drain in its body.One of the advantages is the elimination oforifice flanges and cases, reducing costs andimproving maintenance.

FLOWMETER
F. Master's Flow-Cone flow meter is anadvanced differential pressure instrument thatprovides accuracy of ±0.5% of rate over a 10:1flow range. A key feature of this device is itsability to fit into small spaces while offering highlevels of accuracy and repeatability.

The Wedge meter is designed formeasurements of high viscosity fluids andsolids in suspension. It can be supplied with differential pressuretaps for diaphragm seals, thus avoidingproblems of fluid inlays near the taps.

WEDGE
The Venturi Tube is suitable forapplications where minimal pressureloss is required, such as in watertreatments, combustion airmeasurements and especially liquidswith solids in suspension.

Based on the Pitot Tube principle, the MeasurementProbe is designed for flow measurements withnegligible load loss and accuracy of ± 1.5% at thebottom of the scale, and can reach below 0.5%calibrated in specialized laboratories. The Flow Nozzle has its characteristic inbetween the Orifice Plate and Venturi Tube.The Flow Nozzle format allows its applicationin services that the fluid is abrasive andcorrosive. Its main use is for steam flow in criticalconditions of operation (high speed,temperature and pressure).
There are two types of standard Flow Nozzles, type "ASME" and type "ISA".The main difference between them is the inlet radius profile and the pressure tapstypes, where "ASME" uses the Radius Taps (1D-1 / 2D) standard on the tube, and"ISA" uses the Corner Taps in piezometric rings welded together to the nozzle. Flow Measurement
Due to its simplicity in installation, lowmanufacturing cost and high durability, the OrificePlate is more favorable than other types of flowmeters. For each process situation, F. Master has thesolutions in flow measurement through OrificePlates with the types: Concentric, Eccentric,Segmental, Quadrant Edge, Conical Entrance.According to ISO 5167 and AGA-3 Standards.

The OrificeFlow has advantages over other primaryelements, since only common flanges are used in theinstallation, not the more expensive orifice flanges.The fittings are also eliminated, leaving the installationcompact and reducing potential leakage points. F.Master's OrificeFlow has a 3 Way Manifold Valve builtinto the meter and can be connected to any type ofdifferential pressure transmitter. The OrificeFlow - Conditioner is designed to be acompact solution compared to traditional orificeplates, it conditions the passage of the fluid at thesame instant it generates the differential pressurethrough its 4 holes. This flow meter reduces pipe straight run, requiringonly two pipe diameters (2D) upstream anddownstream for installation in tight areas, while thetraditional orifice plate needs around 20D upstreamand 5D downstream.

The Integral Orifice is a flow meter for pipeswith diameters below 2", and can be setdirectly with a secondary element (transmitter).

It consists of an Orifice Plate with union flange.Used in the piping system to measure the flowof liquids and gases through the Orifice Plate.It incorporates the 1/2" NPT or SW pressuretaps into the flanges, as requested by thecustomer.
ORIFICE FLANGE ASSEMBLY
This flow meter can be applied to a wide variety of measurements, involving mostgases and liquids, including fluids with solids in suspension, as well as viscous fluidsover a wide range of temperature and pressure. Flow Measurement
It is the most practical solution to place a flowmeasurement point on an existing line,avoiding the placement of orifice flanges or inthe case of lines with special alloys, replacingthese flanges with conventional flanges,reducing the installation cost.

The Restriction Orifice is used where pressure lossin the process is required, decreasing pressure inbranches of a main line.It can also be used in the main line to reduce theprocess pressure permanently. The design principle of the Restriction Orifice isbased on the design of the Orifice Plate, being themethod of calculating permanent loss of charge tobe generated and the standardized dischargecoefficients.
