Our easy-to-find facility offers meeting
spaces with ample guest parking to help
make your next meeting a success.
ALL Rentals must be approved prior to
scheduling and payment. Deposits will not
be refunded if agreement requirements are
not met.
After approval, payment must be made at
least one full week prior to the requested
rental date signed in agreement.
Parties are held on Saturdays orSundays from 2:30-4:30pm.These two hour parties include onehour of pool/gym and the secondhour in our “party” room. All partiesinclude a PARTY HOST. Dates fill up fast so schedule early!50% of party fee and a $25 cleaningdeposit is required at time ofbooking. The cleaning deposit will berefunded within 30 days of the partydate. The balance of the payment isdue 24 hours before the day of theparty. Fees: Members pay $150 (- 20 people) or $175 (+ 20people). Non-members pay $175 ( - 20 people) or $225 ( + 20 people)

LEARNING & CARING CENTERThe Learning and Caring Center strives to
provide a warm, loving and nurturing environment for your infant through 5
year old child. All of our programs are designed to help your child develop
socially, emotionally, intellectually and physically through the use of the
PA Keys Standards & Creative Curriculum & individualized lesson plans.
Each child has the opportunity to learn through play, child-led activities,
active exploration, creative movement & open-ended questioning.

TODDLERS
The Stroudsburg Before & After School Program is for children inKindergarten through sixth grade. It is open from 6:30 am-6:30
pm Monday through Friday during the school year. Children must reside in the Stroudsburg School District to
participate so that they may use the school transportation.
Staff take each child to their respective buses at the appropriatetime.
In the afternoon, the staff meets the children at the bus stop infront of the YMCA building and escorts them to the childcarearea. After they are offered a snack, the children may choose
from a variety of activities.There are additional fees of $15 per day for SCHEDULED andUNSCHEDULED days off from school. See Handbook for more
information.

The East Stroudsburg School Age Program is a before and afterschool program located at JM Hil l and East Stroudsburg
Elementary school. We work with parents and the schools toprovide a safe and stable place for the chi ldren go before and
after school. Our staff helps with homework as well asproviding t ime for crafts, gym and/or playground. The chi ldren
learn how to work with other chi ldren to become a team.
EAST STROUDSBURG SCHOOL AGE PROGRAM
On days when there is no school, careis offered at the YMCA on Main Street
in Stroudsburg for children registeredin this program. Care is available from
6:30 am to 6:30 pm on days schoolis closed due to inclement weather orteacher in-service and parent-teacher
conferences at an additional fee.

The Pocono Family YMCA Basketball “Crown” teams and
“Crown” Developmental clinics operate under the direction of
the Pocono Family YMCA Sports”. The Crown team competes in
local leagues and also attends tournaments and competitions.
YOUTH LEAGUE COED 9-12
Volunteer Coaches are needed for our Youth Sport programs. Duties include directing theteam’s practices and game play. Detailed lesson plans are provided.

Flag Football is one of America's most exciting sports and you can get your starthere at the YMCA, so huddle up‚ flag football is here! YMCA flag football is a
recreational program designed for players new to the sport of football as well asthose not quite ready for tackle football.

members. In Just For Kicks, swimmers will

ENJOY A WEEK OF FREE SWIMLESSONS SPONSORED BY KIWANIS
Boys and Girls Age 12 & Under -Swimmers are required to be able to
swim 25 yards freestyle and 25 yardsbackstroke without flotation or
assistance.
Upon completion of Level 3 or 4students can move up to the ‘Take Your
Mark’ program.

The program is geared for our year round competitive swim team member who isdedicated to the sport of swimming 12 months of the year. USA Swimming membershipis encouraged but not required. Monthly payments are required. YMCA Membership is
required and must be in good standing at all times. During the winter season thePiranhas field boys and girls teams competing in the Monroe Division in the Penn Del
League with total team of over 130 swimmers. During the Spring and Summer Seasonsthe Piranhas participate in USA Swimming Invitational meets as well as Middle Atlantic
Junior Olympics, Silver Champs, SR Champs, Sectionals, Futures and Zone Meets. Practices are held at local school district pools.

FOR HEALTHY LIVING Fitness
Offered free to ALL new members to help them safely learnhow to use the Cybex and cardio equipment. Our fitness staff
will work one-on one with you to get proper instruction onour Cybex equipment, and a quick introduction to the cardio
and free weight equipment. Contact the member services deskto set up your appointment or get more information.
Please set your appointment at least 24 hours in advance.
NEW MEMBER ORIENTATIONS
Fitness Center Policy:
Teen Strength will be offered to any teen between the age of 12-15 who
would like to individually use the cybex machine room, Group Fitness,
and Cardio Room.
This is a 4 week class offered on Thursdays each month. (Please see the front desk for more information on pricing and dates)
On completion of the 4 week program, they will receive a card stating theyhave completed the program and will show to the staff upon entering the
fitness center.
Teens 12-15 years of age accompanied by an adult 25 years or older mayuse the cybex machine room, group fitness, and cardio room aftercompleting our fitness center orientation with the fitness center
attendant.
The adult must stay with the teen at all times. If the teen is found alone inthe fitness center and does not have the Teen Strength completion card,
they will be asked to leave the fitness center.

Small group training is results-driven training designed to take
you to the next level. Enjoy the benefits of personal
training combined with themotivation that comes from being
part of a team.
With a minimum of 2 participants(maximum of 8), you will be
instructed on how to effectivelyutilize the machines in the FitnessCenter as well as the use of body
weight training in the aerobicsroom.
The instructor will take the groupthrough various exercises for the
day and you will get the results at aprice you are looking for.

AMERICAN HEARTASSOCIATION CPR CLASSES
BLS - BASIC LIFE SUPPORTThis course is the foundation for saving lives after
cardiac arrest. It is designed for healthcareprofessionals and other personnel who need to know
how to perform CPR and other basic cardiovascular lifesupport skills. Class covers adult, child and infant CPR,
use of AED, bag mask and choking. This class runsapproximately 4.5 hours.
Fees:Participant $85 (includes student manual)
BLS - SKILLS TESTING SESSIONFor persons who have completed The BLS - Basic Life
Support online Part 1 Course. Skills testing onmannequins , use of AED and bag mask device, and
choking procedures, will take approximately 2 hours. Fees: Participant $50 (includes student manual)
HEART SAVER FIRST AID CPR/AED
This course is designed to prepare students toprovide first aid and CPR and to use an AED in a safe,
timely, and effective manner. It is intended for anyonewith little or no medical training who needs a course
completion card for job, regulatory, or otherrequirements, or anyone
who wants to be prepared for an emergency in anysetting. This class runs approximately 5-6 hours.

HEART SAVER PEDIATRIC FIRST AID CPR/AEDThis course teaches students to respond to and
manage illnesses and injuries in a child or an infant inthe first few minutes until professional help arrives.
The course is intended for child careworkers,teachers,foster-care workers,and
camp/youth counselors, coaches for children’ssports organizations, parents, grandparents, baby-sitters, and guardians. The course covers CPR and
first aid, for child and an infant, use of AED and more.This class runs approximately 5-6 hours .fees: CPR &

IS FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE AVAILABLE FORCHILD CARE AND YOUTH SPORTS?
Yes. Financial Assistance isn’t just formembership fees. We can also provide
assistance for child care, youth sports,swimming lessons and other youth
activities. Just ask! If you are applyingfor a child care scholarship, please make
sure you apply with and are denied byELRC before applying for assistance
through the Y.
