The School of Global Configurator Plus Covers the Following Topics:

Overview of Extron Pro Series Control Products

Extron Pro Series control systems take configurable control

to a new level with advanced configuration software, new

touchpanels, more powerful processors, and a broad range of

other tools and breakthrough technologies geared to handle

the evolving complexities of today’s AV system designs.

This session will provide an overview of the Pro Series control

products family, legacy control system products, as well as

their supporting configuration tools. You will learn about the

differences between these products and how to best integrate

their capabilities into a range of AV applications.

LinkLicense

Extron LinkLicense allows a mobile device, such as a tablet or

laptop, to be used as a primary control interface in an Extron

Pro Series control system. It simplifies deployment of BYOD –

Bring Your Own Device, and allows a standardized BYOD

strategy for AV control in an organization.

In this session, we will discuss Extron LinkLicense and the

benefits of using LinkLicense in your applications. You will also

learn about the best practices for its implementation in a variety

of systems.

MLC 55, MLC 62, and MLC 64 Series Configuration Software

In this session, you will gain more insight into using Extron

MLC 55, MLC 62, and MLC 64 Series configuration software.

Through hands-on exercises, you will configure an MLC 55

controller based on a real-world AV scenario. This will

guide you on best practices and how to accommodate the

requirements of various AV applications.

GUI Designer Software

GUI Designer is a software application used to design,

create, and maintain TouchLink Pro user interfaces. In this

session, you will learn about how GUI Designer works with

Global Configurator software in order to create and upload

custom user interfaces and control configurations.

Global Configurator Plus Software

This session will walk you through the features and capabilities

of Global Configurator Plus software. You will learn how to

define actions and conditions, and understand the use of

local variables. This session will also help you determine when

to apply conditional logic based on user input and system

behavior, using a series of real-world exercises. Additional

exercises will broaden your knowledge of troubleshooting

configurations using one control processor and one unique

control interface based on single display or dual display

applications.
