1. (1) इन वनयमक का नाम प्रविभूवि संवििा (विवनयमन) (संश िन) वनयमािली, 2017 ै गा।

(2) यह राजपत्र मद् अपनह प्रकाशन की विवथ क प्रिृत् ि ैकगह।

2. प्रविभूवि संवििा (विवनयमन) वनयमािली, 1957 मद्, वनयम 8 मद् -

(i) उप-वनयम (1) मद्, तंड (च) मद्,-

(क) प्रथम परंिुक का ल प दकया जा गा;

(त) िसूरह परंिुक कह स्थान पर, वनम्नवलवति परंिुक प्रविस्थावपि दकया जा गा, अथािि -

''परंिु यै दक इसमद् उवल्लवति क ई भी नाि “उप-वनयम (8) कह तंड (क) सह तंड (ढ)” मद् उवल्लवति दकन्ैीं वनगमक,

वनगवमि वनकायक, कंपवनयक अथिा संस्थाओं पर लाग ूनैीं ै गी।''

(ii) उप-वनयम (3) मद्, तंड (च) मद्, उप-तंड (iii) मद्, “उप-वनयम (4) कह परंिुक की मि (क) सह मि (ढ)” शब्िक, क ष्ठकक

और िर्णों कह स्थान पर “उप-वनयम (8) कह तंड (क) सह तंड (ढ)” शब्ि, क ष्ठक और िर्णि प्रविस्थावपि दक जा ंगह।

NOTIFICATION

New Delhi, the 27th June, 2017

G.S.R. 664(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by section 30 of the Securities Contracts (Regulation) Act,

of 1956 (42 of 1956), the Central Government hereby makes the following rules further to amend the Securities

Contracts (Regulation) Rules, 1957, namely:—

1. (1) These rules may be called the Securities Contracts (Regulation) (Amendment) Rules, 2017.

(2) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette.

2. In the Securities Contracts (Regulation) Rules, 1957, in rule 8, -

(i) in sub-rule (1), in clause (f),-

(a) the first proviso shall be omitted;

(b) for the second proviso, the following proviso shall be substituted, namely:-

“Provided that nothing herein shall be applicable to any corporations, bodies corporate, companies or

institutions referred to in clauses (a) to (n) of sub-rule (8).

(ii) in sub-rule (3), in clause (f), in sub-clause (iii), for the words, brackets and letters “items (a) to (n) of the proviso

to sub-rule (4)”, the words, brackets and letters “clauses (a) to (n) of sub-rule (8)” shall be substituted.
