Easy Jet Easy Jet is a discount airline in Europe that offers cheap flights to a number of destinations throughout Europe, Northern Africa and parts of Asia. Its goal is to attract savvy travellers both for leisure and business, who are not looking for first class treatment but to simply get to their destination on a shoestring. Their main competition is Lufthansa, which is another discount airline in Europe. Their values are placed on efficiency: no business class (business class reduce seats from 149 to ~109), no agents, no tickets, no free food and they strive to avoid heavily congested airports. Easy Jet is targeting financially savvy individuals who are always “looking for a deal”. These individuals could include “backpacking” travellers from around the world, college students/grads, middle class individuals. Those who are travelling on business as well. Just because they are on business, does not mean they will pay over $500 extra to be in “business class”. Times are tough these days, companies would look into saving on travel costs in one way or another. Meet Liam Liam is 27 and is finally taking a 10 day vacation from work. He works for a general contractor company based out of Liverpool. Liam is looking to relive his youth and travel to Ibiza for some partying, but would also like to go to Glasgow afterwards to visit his parents whom he has not seen for a year and a half. Even though Liam has not had a vacation in a while, he also have not done too well in saving his money so his funds are limited. Luckily, he friend recommended Easy Jet to him and to his surprise, he only has to pay 33 each way.
