THE VENUE

Campbelltown Sports Stadium has a capacity of 17,500 and will be the home of the new A-League club Macarthur FC when they enter Australia’s premier national football competition in October 2020. The venue is also a home ground for the Wests Tigers who play in the National Rugby League competition and New South Wales top tier competitions. The venue has a proud history of being associated with the Wests Tigers and we look forward to a long and successful future with Macarthur FC. Campbelltown Sports Stadium attracts over 50 event days per year and has a projected annual visitation from 2020 of over 250,000 people.

The venue’s proximity to Campbelltown Athletics Centre, with over 100,000 visitors per annum, provides additional brand exposure.

Campbelltown Sports Stadium is arguably the most accessible venue in New South Wales, adjacent to one of three railway stations that form Campbelltown’s CBD and direct rail links to Sydney’s CBD.

With the reputation of having one of the best playing surfaces in Australia, the venue is looking forward to fulfilling its potential as the only sports and entertainment venue in south west Sydney located in one of Australia’s fastest growing regions.

CAMPBELLTOWN CITY - SYDNEY’S SOUTHERN GATEWAY Campbelltown is currently undergoing an economic and social transformation. The city is at the epicentre of one of the most rapidly growing population corridors in NSW and Campbelltown Sports Stadium is the city’s premier venue for sport and entertainment. By 2036, south west Sydney will have an estimated increase in population of 48 per cent, when it will be home to more than 1.5 million people. This means that one in three new NSW residents will reside in this region.

Campbelltown, designated as one of the four Metropolitan Centres for the Western Parkland City, is well positioned to make the most of this unprecedented growth and consolidate its future as an important economic and lifestyle hub for the greater Macarthur region.

Campbelltown is taking a principal role in raising the city’s profile to generate growth in investment, create local jobs for local people and to transform the city into a dynamic, self-sustainable, liveable urban centre where people and businesses want to be, providing the perfect time to secure a unique opportunity to be a significant part of Campbelltown’s future.

Another unique opportunity that is presented is the establishment of the Western Sydney International (Nancy-Bird Walton) Airport which is a transformational project that will generate infrastructure, investment and economic activity for the Western Parkland City. The airport and surrounding aerotropolis will be a catalyst for employment growth in Campbelltown as one of the metropolitan centres providing many opportunities for local businesses and supercharging the creation of thousands of knowledge-intensive jobs.
