Indiana Success Stories…
U.S. Department of Commerce
From Northern Indiana we have Laidig Sytems who make huge bulk storage systems for grain and other feed stock. Laiding sells their bulk storage systems all over the world.
In Lafayette, I have worked with Cook Biotech…cool stuff, they make surgical patches and meshes that are used to repair or replace damaged tissue in surgical procedures. The medical sector is big business globally and Cook Biotech sells, just like Laidig, all over the world.
Let’s go down to the other end of the state, Escalade Sports in Evansville, sells ping pong tables, Gorilla basketball goals and archery equipment all over Latin America. We specifically helped them find a distributor for their products in Mexico.
Did I mention… the Indiana company that sells paper mache dog and cat heads, globally, or the guy that makes custom wooden eyewear that are eco-friendly that are featured in magazines such as Vogue, Glamour, and Elle. Or the guy that sell NASCAR simulators…just like being in a real NASCAR …to Germany…… or the woman who sells fondant (cake icing) to Canada and the UK and has been featured on the Food Network.
