What we hope convey in this presentation today is that CMU provides numerous (well hidden) benefits to the Staff that you can take advantage of, including discounts, memberships, events and information regarding employment resources, besides getting paid.

Staff Council, who are we and what do we do?
• Council serves as the voice for staff at Carnegie Mellon University through policy advocacy and community involvement, providing an organization that enables staff to realize their full potential and impact their quality of life.
• Staff Council examines matters related to all staff, and to formulate recommendations to the university administration.
• Staff Council represents all persons holding full- or part-time staff appointments at Carnegie Mellon.
