Seeing a Doctor Passage A Yesterday Mr. Green had a very good time at the beach. He enjoyed the picnic. He swam in the sea for quite a while. He felt very happy. But in the evening, he didn't feel verywell. He got a headache and a high fever. He could hardly get up in the morning. He took an aspirin, but he still felt sick. So he telephoned Mr. Wang to ask for sick leave. Mr. Wang comforted him and told him not to worry about his class. He also asked Lily and Xiao Yang to take Mr. Green to see a doctor. Now Mr. Green is at the doctor's.

Doctor: Let me see ... When did you begin to feel it? Green:  Yesterday evening. I also had a fever.

Get the Computer Repaired Passage B Binhai College is quite modern. Every classroom for English study has a computer. Mr. Green often uses the computer to teach English. This makes his class more interesting. All the students like to use the computer. They do exercises on the computer. They also play word games on it. But this morning, something went wrong with the computer. It didn't work. Prof. Green and the students tried to get it fixed, but in vain. Mr. Green was very much troubled. The students were worried, too. Finally, they sent for a repairman. Now they are talking about the problems with the repairman.

Repairman:    You know, all of you use this computer, and many of you bring in your floppies. You also receive e-mails and e-mails sometimes carry viruses.             Lily:     I see. How can you kill the virus and when will you get the computer fixed?Repairman:    I hope it will be OK tomorrow.

He Needs Help Passage C There is a handsome boy in the picture. He has golden hair and a pair of big blue eyes. But he looks very sad. He is thin and weak because he suffers from AIDS. In our human bodies, the immune system protects us from disease. But when one gets the AIDS virus in his / her body, it attacks and destroys the immune system, and the body then is helpless against disease. And the patient will die of this or that disease.

But you don't have to worry too much about being with the boy. The AIDS virus can't live outside his body, and it can't travel through the air. You don't need to be afraid to touch him, either.
