What do you expect from C&I Faculty?

• Provide a clear understanding of where education is headed.

• Display a passion for teaching and learning that will inspire your students.

• An overall sense of professionalism and respect displayed toward your students.

• Be willing to teach us more than content – cognition – but, also understand the importance of supporting our feelings and emotional well-being.

• Help us recognize our strengths and weaknesses as a future educator.

What do you expect from yourself and other students in the program?

• Respect the faculty and students that you will be working with in your program.

• Actively participate in the learning process.• Have a passion for teaching and learning.• Help each other to learn.• Work together with the resources that we are given to be the best

educator we can be.• Work to your potential.• Know your wants and needs and not stop at the basics, and move on

towards excellence.• Be able to communicate your wants and needs to our instructors, staff

and administration.• Know your limits and try to work on your weaknesses.

What do you expect to get from the Bachelor of Science in Education Program?

• Learn how to address the future as an educator.• Be able to transfer knowledge to future

generations.• Learn how to inspire the students that you are

going to teach.• Walk out of here with the knowledge and

connections to be able to find a successful teaching job.

• Know how to teach different types of students.
