international clients and artists, we have built and maintained a reputation of professional
and historical excellence. our professional team is owned and managed by industry leaders,
including many former cirque du Soleil artists and coaches, with over 100 years of combined
professional circus experience.
We offer an array of packaged shows ranging from 15-minute productions to 45-minute dinner
shows. We also have strategic partnerships with many of Vancouver’s leading event suppliers,
offering our clients preferred production rates for staging, lighting, sound and our one-of-a-kind
aerial rig system.

Aaron Johnson – Co-Founder / Quality Control aaron’s contributions to the circus and trampoline industry have been immense. as a canadian pioneer aaron launched his trampoline career with the nissen corporation (inventor of the modern day trampoline), performing for George nissen’s company for years. aaron has coached some of the world’s best acrobats and trampolinists, most notably, running canada’s national trampoline team from 1976-1999. In 2000, aaron was asked to coach for cirque du Soleil’s Mystere. Sadly, aaron Johnson passed away unexpectedly in 2012; since then Gymnastics canada named the Trampoline Service award the aaron Johnson Memorial award, and has been inducted into the World acrobatic Society’s Gallery of Legends
Travis Johnson – Co-Founder / Director of OperationsTravis grew up in a world of circus and trampoline, never having known a life without either; his parents ran recreational and competitive trampoline programming at a national and provincial level for nearly two decades. Travis began competing in trampoline at the age of 6, having won a number of Western canadian championships. Thereafter, Travis retired from the sport to engage in business development. He started his entrepreneurial endeavors in 1999. His business ventures include being Vice President for Vibe design Ltd, an audio-visual production company for 6 years, co-founding the Vancouver circus School in 2004, and co-founding and acting as director of operations for the Inner ring circus in 2005. In 2012, Travis became a co-founding member of aSca (asia-Pacific Social circus association), in coordination with the cirque du Soleil, and over 100 social circus organizations from all over the world.
Travis has been awarded with accolades such as, the Small Business of the Year award (new Westminster chamber of commerce), neXTuP award (Tourism new Westminster), and nominated for the Builder’s choice award for his Vancouver circus School’s new Westminster location.

directors and
Founders Darren Bersuk – Head of Acrobatics Department darren’s career launched when he was placed onto the senior canadian national Gymnastics Team while still at junior age, going on to represent canada at 2 world championships, the Pan am Games and a dozen other major international competitions, eventually being inducted into the canadian Gymnastics Hall of Fame. He then made the immediate leap from amateur sport into acro-theatrical entertainment, moving to Las Vegas to perform with cirque du Soleil’s ‘Mystere’ for over 3 years.
a move to new York landed him in various television spots including 2 performances on Late Show with david Letterman, The Today Show, Good Morning america and The View. In 2005, darren returned to cirque du Soleil to do duo aerial Straps in ‘delirium’ as a featured act, and again later to perform hand-to-hand for almost 3 years in ‘Saltimbanco.’ darren has recently performed for cirque’s special events division in ekaterinburg, russia and at the Macy’s parade in new York performing his newest creation, the cirque Tower. darren remains the only artist at cirque du Soleil to ever have 3 different creations from different acrobatic genres to be bought by the company – a testament to his diverse talent and creativity. He has performed for elite brands such as Bacardi, nike, e*Trade, anheuser-Busch, Mercedes and many others. darren has an M.B.a., is an ISSacertified fitness trainer and has both gymnastics and trampoline coaching certifications.
Michael Maan – Event ManagerMichael has been involved in performing arts all his life. Having participated in recreational gymnastics, dance, theater and music, he eventually ended up at the Inner ring circus where he now works as the event Manager. Michael has managed several hundred events over the past 4 years, working with some of the best performers in the industry and so many wonderful clients. each event is a unique experience for the client, the event staff and the performers. It is Michael’s job to ensure that all aspects of the Inner ring circus performance is exciting and as stress free as possible for our clients. Making magic happens both on and off stage.
Meregon Kiddo – Head of Aerial Department Meregon Kiddo has been a resident aerialist for the Inner ring circus since its inception in 2005. Having performed at hundreds of events, including film, full productions, corporate, private, community and charitable events, Meregon has developed a style that is truly unmatched. Her versatility and creativity as a performer, and diversity in vision as a choreographer, make Meregon a strong choice for any event that could use some breath-taking entertainment.
