WE’RE GLAD YOU ARE HERE!! Don’t have a plan for lunch today? The Thomas Volunteer Fire department is having a fish fry from 11-2 PM at the fire station. Proceeds benefit the fire department. Elder Selection Process Update. Elder nominees will meet in the overflow Wednesday night to share their individual discernment and then, as a group corporately, discern an elder ballot for the congregation. The ballot will be in the bulletin two weeks before the vote. Absentee ballots will be available one week before the vote. All ballots are due at the time of the vote. Please continue to pray for the elder nominees. Wednesday night we will be having chicken and noodles, mashed potatoes, salad and apple crisp. See you at 6! The Oklahoma Mennonite Relief Sale is this Friday and Saturday, Nov 4 & 5, at the Chisolm Trail Expo Center in Enid. Flyers and pamphlets are available around the church with more information. Susan Shantz is our church rep if you have questions. Christmas is fast approaching and a children’s program is planned. If you have a child, Pre-K through grade 5, practice will be during Sunday school until November. Practice times will then be moved to Wednesday evenings. Jared Deck and Forgiven Quartet will be performing. A love offering will be accepted with proceeds going to the Center. Evening in the Country is just around the corner!! In a short 4 weeks (whoa!) we will have our annual supper, craft sale and bake sale. We need YOU! Carolene is in charge of the meal, and needs helpers. Please see her if you're willing to help serve, cook, etc. The craft and bake sale will open after the meal starts. If you bake, bring us your goodies! If you can sew, paint, craft or anything else we would love to have your creations! Stay tuned for more details and plan to join us (& invite your friends) Saturday, Nov 19. Kerry Slagell has agreed to take on this task and will be willing to come to your home or favorite spot to take your family picture. Please contact her to schedule an appointment.
