FEATURESThe EXLUX 6008 Series carries out pre-programmed testing schedules, monitorsemergency ballast performance and batterycharging. In case of power failure the Auto-test-ing Emergency Ballast automatically switches toemergency mode, keeping one lamp illuminatedat reduced lumen output for a minimum of 90minutes. When AC power is restored, the fixturereturns to AC supply. It also can be set for 3hours emergency operation with reduced lightoutput. The EXLUX 6008 Series of EmergencyLighting Fixtures are designed for hostile andhazardous locations where reliability and ruggedperformance are critical. The housing is con-structed of fiberglass reinforced polyester (FRP)with a single piece, low glare polycarbonate lens.It is supplied with flameproof electronic ballastsas standard and is available in 1x 32 Watts and2x 32 Watts versions.INSTALLATIONThe fixture includes threaded NPT openings withgrounded backplates and NPT close-up plugs.For MC-HL cable installation use TMC cableglands. For conduit installation use conduit hubs8166/11-0•-N (see page B7). The fixture must bewired with a permanent charging phase whichneeds to be the same potential as the switchedphase. The terminal capacity is 2 stranded wires10 AWG per terminal.PERIODIC AUTO TESTINGThe fixture automatically performs a weekly functional test. The discharge test is factory set for manual testing. If automatic testing is preferred the jumper wire needs to be removedas explained in the IOM sheet.STATUS INDICATOR DISPLAYOne red LED and one green LED are incorporated into the fixture and can be seenfrom the outside through the lens. FEATURESThe C-LUX 6500 Series of LightingFixtures are small compact fixturesdesigned for indoor use, hostile and hazardous locations where reliability and rugged performance are critical. The housing is constructed of heavy-duty fiberglass reinforced polyester (FRP) with a single piece, low glare polycarbonate lens. The C-LUX 6500 Series is available either as a one, two or three-lamp version.

INSTALLATIONThe fixture is suitable for wall or ceilingmounting. It includes one threaded 3/4"NPT hub and two close-up plugs. To open the fixture use 1/2" socketwrench P/N 81 980 05 40 0.For parts and accessories see page B15.
