Horse Show / AQHA Ranching Heritage: TBD PATTERNS Futurity Prelims: 8 Lope Toward Futurity Finals: 2 Lope Toward Horse Show / Hackamore Classic: 11 Lope Toward Open Bridle / Open Hackamore Finals: 5 VET: Dr. Joe Carter 405-642-7845 FARRIER: Bill Clymer 719-251-1932 REQUIRED HEALTH DOCUMENTS – To comply with state animal health regulations, ALL HORSES INCLUDING TEXAS will require a negative Coggins (Equine Infectious Anemia) dated within 12 months of the event, and a health certificate dated within 10 days. ALL horses, including non-compete horses, are required to check in at the NRCHA Show Office. MOVE IN – Horses may move in at 8 AM on Tuesday, October 5th. MOVE OUT – Move out must be completed by midnight, Sunday October 24th. SHOW OFFICE HOURS – The show office will be open 8 AM – 5 PM on move in days. Additional show office hours TBD. PAID PARKING FACILITY – The Will Rogers Memorial Center (WRMC) is a paid parking facility. All vehicles and trailers on the WRMC will be required to pay to park in all facility lots. Vehicle parking is $10/day for a one-day pass. Multi-day passes are available for $5/day. Trailer parking is $5/day in the dropped trailer South Lot. Day Hauler parking is $15/day. Day Haulers may not park in roadways near barns. They must park in the designated Day Hauler parking area. TRAILER PARKING – All dropped trailers must be parked in the designated lot. Cost is $5/day. Day hauler parking is $15/day. Trailer passes can be purchased with regular parking passes. RV HOOK UPS – Limited space is available. Spaces are available first come first serve and are handled by the Will Rogers Memorial Center. We are unable to reserve spaces. There are two types of hookups: Red / VIP & Yellow Lot are $60 per night, including water, electric and dumping station (50 and 30 amps available). The second type are located in the Swine Lot. They are $30 per night including water and electric (30 amp) ONLY (no dumping). PAYMENT INFORMATION – You will need to bring one open check or credit card to the Horse Show Office when checking in. In the event that no charges are incurred during the event, your check will be returned to you. Any practice pen charges will be added to your show tab. All show tabs MUST be closed out at the horse show. Any NSF checks or credit cards will be charged a $35 NSF fee. Any tabs that are not paid in full at the end of the show (including scratched entries) will be charged a $50 late fee.

PRACTICE PEN – A schedule will be posted at the show and will be run as a Priority Work pen the same day the class shows. Add ons can be worked after the priority works for that set have completed. Practice pen works will be billed to the show tab. Cow work and herd work practices are $65. OPEN ARENA TIME –The show arena will have open riding time when classes have ended for the day. The arena will be open all night with controlled practice, closing at 6 AM to prepare for classes that day. A schedule will be posted at the show. This is subject to change based on arena prep needed. BEDDING – Bedding is not included in the stall fee and must be purchased from the WRMC Shavings Office located in the lobby of Cattle Barn 4. No outside bedding allowed. You will need a separate payment for bedding once you get on the grounds. If you wish to pre-order bedding to expedite move in, please contact the NRCHA office by September 2. You may pay the NRCHA for pre-bed only. We cannot take pre-bed orders after September 2 and you will need to purchase bedding at the facility upon arrival. The shavings office is open from 8 AM to 4 PM daily, so please plan accordingly. You must order bedding from the bedding office in person – they do not take orders over the phone. If your pre-bed order is not correct upon arrival, please come to the NRCHA show office immediately for it to be corrected. We must know within one day of your arrival or you will be charged for the amount ordered. HAY – The facility does not sell hay. There may be a few vendors on site selling hay. STALLS – The deadline to order stalls is September 2nd. Stalls ordered after September 2nd will be subject to a $50 late fee. Stalls will cost $250. Any stalls ordered after September 2nd are not guaranteed placement with their stalling group. There are no shavings included in the stall price. Stalls will be located in the Cattle Barns, Moncrief, Burnett, Richardson Bass and Multi-Purpose. A stall list will be posted online on the NRCHA website before move in. Please verify your stall count is correct and contact the office with any corrections. Cancelled stalls need to be verified by the NRCHA office for a refund. When you check in to the show office on arrival, notify the office of any cancelled stalls or incorrect bedding. Changes to stalls and shavings cannot be made after check-in. You will be charged for any stalls and shavings that you did not have the office verify. To secure stall placement with your designated party, please get together with your trainer/stall agent/people stalling with you and complete a Stabling Request Form. Return the form to the NRCHA office by September 2, 2021. You may fax this form to 940-488-1499 or email to [email protected]. We will try to accommodate stall placement requests received after September 2nd, but placement with your preferred party is not guaranteed. Please try to coordinate with those stalling with you to minimize duplicate requests. WEEKEND STALL FEE – If you are showing in a horse show class only, you may purchase a weekend stall for $100 – that covers only 2 nights of stall usage. There are no shavings included in the stall price. The floor of the stall is asphalt. Panels in the stalls may not be removed. Stalls will be located in the Multi-Purpose building. NO WEEKEND STALLS will be placed in the Cattle Barns, Moncrief, Richardson Bass or Burnett buildings. DAY FEES – If you haul in and are working out of your trailer and don’t need a stall, you will need to pay the trailer parking day fee when you enter the grounds which is $15/day. Parking will be in the designated area for Day Haulers. You may not park in the roadway near the barns. DOGS – All dogs must be on a leash at all times when on the show grounds. Absolutely no dogs are allowed in the John Justin Arena or Will Rogers Coliseum. SIGNS, POSTERS & FLIERS – There are blue boards throughout each barn that are open to public ads and display information (products, horse for sale, etc.). Tape may not be used on painted surfaces. Please use the non-stick command strips or sticky tack that does not damage walls. Thumb tacks are acceptable. Do not post to walls or doors in the facility!

VIDEO – Immediately following your run, you are able to view your run on the replay monitor at no charge. The monitor will be set up near the exit gate. Owners and riders may also visit the Equine Promotion’s booth at any time to watch video of the run at no charge. If you wish to watch a run of a horse that you do not own or are not the rider of, there will be a charge to do so. Equine Promotion’s booth is located in Brown Lupton North. Videos may be purchased and made available to you via YouTube, a USB drive and/or downloaded to your mobile device. PHOTOS – Award photos may be taken in the arena by appointment with Primo Morales Photography. A contact phone number will be posted, or visit Primo’s booth that is located in Brown Lupton North. You are welcome to bring your awards as well as friends and family for group photos.
TICKETED EVENTS – ONLY the last day of the Snaffle Bit Futurity® is ticketed. Futurity entries will receive two exhibitor tickets per horse for entry on this day. Horse Show and Hackamore Classic entries will receive one exhibitor ticket per horse for entry on those days. These tickets are general admission in exhibitor seating areas only. Seating in the exhibitor sections is available on a first-come, first-served basis. We cannot replace and are not responsible for lost or stolen tickets. ENTRY INFORMATION – Please see the Snaffle Bit Terms and Conditions regarding Limited Aged Event entries. All Horse Show and Hackamore Classic entries are due IN OFFICE September 2, 2021. We will not process your entry without a form of payment. Snaffle Bit Entries must be paid in full prior to the draw. NRCHA reserves the right to refuse or deny entry for any reason. The following options are for Horse Show, Hackamore Classic and Ranching Heritage entries only.
❖ You may include a check with your entry form for the full amount. ❖ You may include credit card information for us to charge your card. Please be aware there is a
3.5% convenience fee for credit cards. You MUST include all information requested in order for us to process your card.
❖ You may include credit card information to process your entry and replace that with a check once you arrive at the show grounds. Please be aware that if you scratch your entry, we reserve the right to charge your card for any fees due.
An entry verification list will be posted on the NRCHA website as quickly as possible after the deadline and before the draw. Please be sure to check your entries. NRCHA has the right to refuse any entry for any reason. LATE FEES - Late fees will be charged to any entry received after the due date. Late fees are not charged to add classes or divisions to the original entry that was on time for that horse, AND before the draw. DRAW DATE – The draw date for the NRCHA Snaffle Bit Futurity® will be September 14, 2021. Draw date for the Hackamore Classic Herd Work will be September 21st. Hackamore Classic rein and cow, and horse show classes will be drawn on October 12th at noon.

2021 HACKAMORE CLASSIC TERMS & CONDITIONS
Hackamore Classic • This is a derby for 4 and 5-year-olds to be shown in a hackamore. Horses may not switch headgear
within the competition. Six-year-olds MAY NOT BE SHOWN IN A HACKAMORE IN THE NON PRO LIMITED.
• Horses entered in the Hackamore Classic ARE NOT AUTOMATICALLY ENTERED in the Hackamore horse show classes. If you would like to enter both, please designate by using the respective class codes on your entry form.
• There are no finals in any division of the Hackamore Classic.
• Open entries are automatically entered into Open divisions for which they are eligible (Intermediate Open, Limited Open). Open Money may be paid out 72% Open, 22% Intermediate Open, 6% Limited Open. 70% of entry fee goes to Payout.
• Level One Limited Open can be entered as its own class. Participants do NOT need to be entered in the Open, but may opt to enter the Open at a reduced fee for the Level 1.
o Entry fee to enter ONLY the Level One is $600 – 70% of entry fee goes to Payout. o Entry fee to enter the Level one if cross entering the Open is $420 in addition to the
Open entry fee – 100% of entry fee goes to payout.
• The Open Novice Horse class will run concurrent with the Open division. Those entering the Open Novice Horse class do not need to enter the Open Division or Level 1 but may enter either or both if they wish. 70% of entry fee goes to payout.
• Non Pro entries are automatically entered into all Non Pro divisions for which they are eligible (Intermediate Non Pro and Novice Non Pro only). Non Pro money will be paid out 65% Non Pro, 25% Int. Non Pro, 10% Nov. Non Pro. 70% of entry fee goes to Payout.
• The Amateur Division can be entered as its own class. Participants do NOT need to be entered in the Non Pro Division but may opt to enter the Non Pro at a reduced fee for the Amateur.
o Entry fee to enter ONLY the Amateur is $500 – 70% of entry fee goes to Payout. o Entry fee to enter the Amateur if cross entering the Non Pro is $350 in addition to the
Non Pro entry fee – 100% of entry fee goes to payout.
• The Non Pro Limited division follows the same rules as the Horse Show Non Pro Limited eligibility (see Rule 10.4.11). 6-year-old horses may NOT be shown.
• The NRCHA Rule Book contains the rules for Limited Aged Events and will be followed as printed.
• Both owner and rider must be current 2021 NRCHA members. • Hackamore Classic Refund Policy – Scratches must be made in writing and received in the NRCHA
office: o Scratches made on or before the due date will receive a full refund of all fees o Scratches made after the due date but before the draw will be refunded all fees minus
30% retainage o Scratches made after the draw will be refunded the video and NRCHA fees only
• 10% of the purse goes to Go Round money.

AQHA RANCHING HERITAGE CHALLENGE
$17,500 in ADDED MONEY General Information: All NRCHA Entry Requirements and American Quarter
Horse Association Ranching Heritage Breeder rules shall apply. Each exhibitor
is required to read all of the Terms and Conditions prior to sending in entry
forms. Entry must meet AQHA’s Ranching Heritage Breeder Rules; to verify
eligibility, contact AQHA at (806) 376‐4811. See special class rules for more
information on the classes offered at this event.

Ranching Heritage Challenge shows will offer certain divisions for specific levels of riders. The following criteria are used to determine
in which division the rider would qualify:
▪ Open ‐ For any exhibitor with any horse regardless of ownership. Both the owner and the exhibitor must be members of
AQHA in good standing.
▪ Limited Open – For any exhibitor with less than 25 AQHA or American Paint Horse Association (APHA) Open Points in Reining,
Cutting or Working Cow Horse within the previous 10 years. For exhibitors with less than $15,000 lifetime earnings in any of
the following: National Reined Cow Horse Association (NRHCA), National Cutting Horse Association (NCHA), National Reining
Horse Association (NRHA), American Cutting Horse Association (ACHA), Ranch Horse Association of America (RHAA),
American Stock Horse Association (ASHA) or Stock Horse of Texas earnings (SHTX). No exhibitor can have earned more than
$15,000 in any individual association.
▪ Amateur – For any exhibitor meeting AQHA Amateur eligibility and ownership requirements as described in the AQHA
Handbook of Rules and Regulations and possess or purchase an AQHA amateur card.
▪ Level 1 Amateur – For any amateur member meeting AQHA Level 1 eligibility requirements as described in Rule SHW245 of
the AQHA Official Handbook of Rules and Regulations. A Level 1 amateur must annually file a Level 1 application, available at
aqha.com/level1.
▪ Cowboy ‐ For working ranch cowboys who are full‐time employees of a working ranch. The horse must be a Ranching
Heritage‐bred horse and must be owned by a family member or the full-time employee of the ranch. Employees must have
been employed for a minimum of 90 days prior to competing in the Ranching Heritage Challenge. The rider must have less
than $15,000 lifetime earnings in any of the following: NRCHA, NCHA, NRHA, ACHA, RHAA, ASHA or SHXT or less than 25
AQHA or American Paint Horse Association Open Points in Reining, Cutting, Working Cow Horse or Versatility Ranch Horse
within the previous 10 years. No exhibitor can have earned more than $15,000 in any individual association.
▪ Youth – For any AQHYA member in good standing.
▪ Level 1 Youth – For any youth member meeting AQHA Level 1 eligibility requirements as described in Rule SHW245 of the
AQHA Official Handbook of Rules and Regulations. A Level 1 youth must annually file a Level 1 application, available at
aqha.com/level1.

Waiver and Release of Liability: By signing below, I hereby acknowledge that I meet the criteria for eligibility to compete in the
classes entered according to the guidelines set forth in the NRCHA Rule Book. Registrant also acknowledges that riding and
showing reined cow horses are inherently dangerous activities that expose the participant to a substantial risk of serious
property damage, personal injury, or death. In consideration for the right to participate in such activities, or any other activity
that the registrant may participate in at the NRCHA Snaffle Bit Futurity®, registrant assumes the risk of injury or death of
participating in those activities and hereby releases National Reined Cow Horse Association (“NRCHA”) and its employees,
representatives and all other agents associated with NRCHA from liability for any personal injury, property damage, or death that
occurs from those activities. Registrant further agrees to release and hold harmless NRCHA, its employees, representatives,
agents and anyone else working at the event who through negligence or carelessness otherwise might be liable in damages to
registrant. This release and waiver of liability shall be binding on Registrants heirs, representatives, dependents, and successors
in interest. I have read and understand the terms and conditions of the entry into this event and agree to abide by those terms
and conditions and the NRCHA Rule Book. I agree as a condition of in consideration of acceptance of entry the National Reined
Cow Horse Association may use or assign photographs, videos, audios, cablecasts or other likeness of me and my horse taken
during the course of competition for the promotion, coverage or benefit of the competition, sport or the NRCHA. Those
likenesses shall not be used to advertise a product and they may not be used in such a way to jeopardize Non Pro/Amateur
status. I hereby expressly and irrecoverably waive and release rights in connection with such use, including any claim to
compensation, invasion of privacy, right of publicity or to misappropriation. I have the authority and hereby do, by making this
entry, assume responsibility for and bind owner, rider and/or agent to the terms and conditions of this Release and Waiver of
Liability. I warrant that I am of legal age or am the parent or legal guardian of the participant named above, and that I have read
and fully understand the foregoing terms.
