According to the Greek Tax Policy, the value added tax (VAT) is currently 24% and it
is not included in the reported rates. It is subject to change and applied VAT will be
the official one at the signed contract date.
Payment Deadlines:
Upon receipt of the signed application form and acceptance of terms and regulations
an invoice will be sent by the Delegation MITOS S.A. Payment is due 30 days of the
invoice date.

Terms and Conditions
1. Set up and dismantling of stands
Exhibitors are responsible for the setting-up and dismantling of stands (except Walls).
The floors, walls, fascia, columns etc., of the exhibition buildings must not be scratched, painted, damaged or be subjected to self-adhesive materials.
Any damage is to be made good by the Exhibitor. Objects, which may damage the floor, must be placed on a protective underlay. No exhibited goods may be removed from the Exhibitor’s stand before the conclusion of the event. The Organizer is entitled, at the expense and risk of the Exhibitor, to remove all goods and trash display materials etc., which have not been removed by the Exhibitor by the set deadline. The Organizer is entitled to the Exhibitor’s risk and expense to dispose of trash products and equipment, etc., which are not removed by the Exhibitor within the prescribed times. Equipment and stand material which are higher than the normal building height of 250 cm require the Organizer’s approval.
2. Special regulations concerning fire prevention
Stands on which cylinder gas, inflammable liquids and other combustible materials are used or exhibited must be approved by the fire authorities in each case and in plenty time before the opening of the exhibition. All display materials must be fireproofed.
3. Cleaning
Cleaning of stand areas is included in the contract rental. Cleaning includes vacuuming, emptying of waste paper baskets but not cleaning of the exhibits.
4. Serving of food and beverages
The restaurateur of Technopolis (Gazi) has the sole and exclusive right to supply and serve food and beverages within the area of the event, apart from that consumed by staff. The distribution of taste samples or the sale of food and beverages from stands may only take place with the prior approval of the Organizer.
5. Packaging
Empty packaging must not be stored in the exhibition area but be placed in the location indicated.
6. Smoking
Smoking is not allowed inside Technopolis (Gazi).
7. Special conditions
Exhibitors are required to register the type and make of all exhibited goods. If an Exhibitor participates with goods other than those originally registered and thereby has obtained a stand location, which is not in accordance with the trade sectioning determined by the Organizer, the Organizer has the right to refuse of the relocate the exhibitor concerned. Sub-lending or sub-letting of the right to use the stand is not permitted under any circumstances. The Exhibitor may not advertise for companies not registered as Exhibitors in any way.
8. Registration /right to make change
Signing the contract makes binding registration. Within 30 days after receipt of the contract from the exhibitor, the Organizer is entitled, without giving reason and without incurring any liability for damages, to annul completely any lease entered into, against repayment of any stand rental paid.
9. Force majeure
In case that war, mobilization, strike, lock-out, fire instructions from public authorities of other circumstances beyond the power or to Organizer should make impossible or seriously hinder the carrying out of an event, the Organizer is entitled to move the event, wholly or in part, to another locality, limit stand areas or annul agreements entered into, without thereby incurring liability for damages to Exhibitors. The Organizer shall at its sole and exclusive discretion, determine an equitable basis for the refund of such portion of the fees as is possible, after due consideration of expenditures and commitments already made.
10. Responsibility / insurance
The Exhibitor is responsible for any injury to persons, damage to buildings or equipment caused by the Exhibitor, the Exhibitor’s employees or the Exhibitor’s exhibited goods or display materials. Exhibitors are not entitled themselves to repair damages. The Organizer is only responsible for damage due to errors or omissions caused by his own employees of the Organizer. All Exhibited goods and display materials remain, in all respects, the responsibility of the Exhibitor and at the Exhibitor’s risk.
It is in the Exhibitor’s own interest to take out all necessary insurance. The Organizer denies all responsibilities for injuries to persons, damage to the exhibited and displayed materials etc., including responsibility for any loss suffered by the Exhibitor caused by failures of electricity and water supply, all forms of supply line breakage, flooding, natural disasters etc.
11. Breach
In the event that the Exhibitor or the Organizer materially breaches its obligations according to the Agreement, including these Terms and Conditions, the other party may terminate the Agreement, The breach must be substantial. However, the Agreement may only be terminated if the breaching party has not remedied such breach within reasonable time after receipt of a writer demand.
12. Cancellation fees
Before March 1st, 2020: 50% of the rent. Before June 30th, 2020: 75% of the rent. After July 1st, 2020: no refunding. 13. Law and venue
The Agreement, including these Terms and Conditions, shall be governed by Greek Law, However, with the exception of Greek International private law and rules concerning choice of law, to the extent that such rules would lead to the application of another country’s law. Any dispute between the Parties arising from this Agreement, including interpretation and application of the Agreement, and which cannot be settled amicably by the Parties, shall be tried by the Court of Greece as the court of first instance.
