ALUCAST 2018 – the biennial International Confer-ence and Exhibition on Die Casting Technology – concluded its proceedings on 8th December, 2018.

Organized by Aluminium Casters’ Association of India (ALUCAST), and produced by NürnbergMesse India, the three day event held at the India Expo Mart, Noida attracted a record number of Exhibitors, Visitors and Delegates.

Out of the 164 exhibitors and brands at the event, 33% of the participation was international from coun-tries including Japan, Switzerland, Germany, Taiwan, Italy and China.

A special highlight was the “CHINA PAVILION” or-ganised by NürnbergMesse China who also led a delegation visit to some prominent die-casting facili-ties in North India to assess the scope of the market.

The event was inaugurated by Mr. Sudarshan Venu, Joint Managing Director, TVS Motor – one of India’s leading automobile companies.

The Key Note speech was delivered by Mr. Pradeep Pawar, COO, Siemens, Germany.

The Theme for the Event was: “Emerging Trends for Die-Casting Technology”. The three-day exhibition cum conference attracted over 3639 visitors.

The 15 Technical Papers and 8 Product Presenta-tions presented during the conference were attend-ed by 200+ delegates. In a noteworthy departure from the traditional content design, a large number of Product Presentations , some with Case Studies, were built in.

The Best Die-Casting & Best Foundry Awards were presented to felicitate foundries with outstanding performance during the year gone by.

ALUCAST 2018 saw a record number of exhibitors, quality visitors and networking opportunities. There was a significant increase in international partici-pants, with the China Pavilion acting as the focal point for discussions. The platform also led to exten-sive knowledge sharing through technical papers, product presentations and business discussions.

ALUCAST 2018 saw a record number of Exhibitors, Visitors and Delegates, surpassing the figures of 2016 event by over 40%. The three-day exhibition cum conference attracted over 3639 visitors. 22 technical papers presented during the conference, attended by 200+ delegates.

The theme for the event was "Challenges Ahead for Aluminium Die Casters” . Quality visitors attended the expo and appreciated the display, Countries represented included Japan, Switzerland, Germany, Taiwan, Italy and China. A notable feature was the “CHINA PAVILION” under which companies dealing in design and manufacture of Dies, Die Casting machines, Machine accessories and PDC Castings for auto parts displayed their products.
