SEMESTER HIGHLIGHTS 1) Phyllis Brodsky:
• Speaker that showed us how to create blogs, how to use video and audio to help us create our reflections. She also taught us what blogging was, why we should do it, and the different kids we could use
2) Service Learning: • Higher Ground youth center’s mission is to reach, transform, and elevate
students academic success and positive identity to build leaders in their community. Higher Ground brings in good mentors, educators and support to inspire the youth , and serve over 130 K-12 grade students.
3) Family Feel: • The people in this class has grown together throughout the semester and
have become family. I think it is a result of group activities, critical thinking and reflections.
