Principal’s Welcome

As Principal of this outstanding and exciting college, I get the opportunity to welcome all our new students each September. Exeter College offers a wide range of courses to young people across the South West of England and internationally. It is very important to us that we place the interests of all our learners at the centre of college’s activities and we aim for excellence in all that we do. Our strong tutorial and support activities encourage all our students to achieve their potential and gain the qualifications they want. We are very proud of our students’ achievements, whether that is through their exam results, their work placements or the wide range of enrichment activities which are so important to college life. Students find Exeter College a friendly and successful place to study, which benefits from excellent transport links, and where we put a strong emphasis on a supportive culture to help all our students reach their full potential.

I look forward to welcoming you.

Jack - Sports Development, Coaching and Fitness“I wanted to gain further qualifications in sports coaching and this was the most cost-effective way of gaining a degree. The amount of support and standard of lecturing has been excellent; the lecturers create a relaxed and enjoyable working environment. The small class sizes mean that there is much group discussion which I find an engaging way of learning when compared to a large lecture theatre where I would just sit and listen. The college also offers a city centre location which means it is easy to pop into town during breaks between lectures.”
