EXECUTIVE ORDER D—234—11

Relating to Exemptions Under Section 27156of the California Vehicle Code

JET Performance ProductsJET Powr—Flo Mass Airflow Sensor

Pursuant to the authority vested in the Air Resources Board by Section 27156 of the VehicleCode; and

Pursuant to the authority vested in the undersigned by Section 39515 and Section 39516 ofthe Health and Safety Code and Executive Order G—14—012;

IT IS ORDERED AND RESOLVED: That the installation of the JET Powr—Flo Mass Airflow

Sensor, manufactured and marketed by JET Performance Products, 17491 Apex Circle,Huntington Beach, California 92647, has been found not to reduce the effectiveness of the

applicable vehicle pollution control systems and, therefore, is exempt from the prohibitionsof Section 27156 of the Vehicle Code for the following vehicle applications listed inExhibit A.

The JET Powr—Flo Mass Airflow Sensor is a new stock Mass Airflow Sensor element thathas been designed to be more precise with a faster response time than the older stockmass airflow sensor. Installation requires the removal of the stock mass airflow sensorand replaced with the JET Powr—Flo Mass Airflow Sensor. There are no user adjustmentsfor proper installation and no other sensors are moved or modified. No changes are madeto the ECU calibration with installation. Diameter of air intake tube is not modified.

This Executive Order is valid provided that the installation instructions for the JET Powr—FloMass Airflow Sensor will not recommend tuning the vehicle to specifications different fromthose submitted by the device manufacturer.

Changes made to the design or operating conditions of the JET Powr—Flo Mass Airflow

Sensor, as exempt by the Air Resources Board, which adversely affect the performance ofthe vehicle‘s pollution control system shall invalidate this Executive Order.

This Executive Order shall not apply to any JET Powr—Flo Mass Airflow Sensor

advertised, offered for sale, sold with, or installed on a new motor vehicle prior to or

concurrent with transfer to an ultimate purchaser.

Marketing of the JET Powr—Flo Mass Airflow Sensor using any identification other thanthat shown in this Executive Order or marketing of the JET Powr—Flo Mass Airflow

Sensor for an application other than those listed in this Executive Order shall beprohibited unless prior approval is obtained from the Air Resources Board.

This Executive Order does not constitute any opinion as to the effect the use of the JETPowr—Flo Mass Airflow Sensor may have on any warranty either expressed or implied bythe vehicle manufacturer.

This Executive Order is granted based on an engineering evaluation which determinedthat the JET Powr—Flo Mass Airflow Sensor would not cause an adverse effect onemissions of the selected vehicles and on submitted On—Board Diagnostic II testingconducted on three vehicles: 2015 model year 5.3L GMC Yukon, 2015 model year 2.5LToyota Camry, and a 2014 model year 5.0L Ford F—150. The JET Powr—Flo Mass AirflowSensor when installed on the test vehicles did not affect the vehicle‘s ability to perform itsOBD II monitoring.

The Air Resources Board reserves the right in the future to review this Executive Orderand the exemption provided herein to assure that the exempted add—on or modified partcontinues to meet the standards and procedures of Title 13, California Code ofRegulations, Section 2222, et seq.

THIS EXECUTIVE ORDER DOES NOT CONSTITUTE A CERTIFICATION,ACCREDITATION, APPROVAL, OR ANY OTHER TYPE OF ENDORSEMENT BY THEAIR RESOURCES BOARD OF ANY CLAIMS OF THE APPLICANT CONCERNINGANTI—POLLUTION BENEFITS OR ANY ALLEGED BENEFITS OF THE JET POWR—FLOMASS AIRFLOW SENSOR.

No claim of any kind, such as "Approved by the Air Resources Board", may be madewith respect to the action taken herein in any advertising or other oral or writtencommunication.

Violation of any of the above conditions shall be grounds for revocation of this order.The order may be revoked only after a ten—day written notice of intention to revoke theorder, in which period the holder of the order may request in writing a hearing tocontest the proposed revocation. If a hearing is requested, it shall be held within tendays of receipt of the request and the order may not be revoked until a determination ismade after the hearing that grounds for revooatlon exist.
