It gives me great pleasure to welcome you to our new monthly newsletter for parents. Although you receive your weekly newsletters from your teachers which are relevant to your section and your Year Group we thought it would be good to give you a monthly overview of things that are happening in our school. There is so much to celebrate at TWS that we thought it a shame not to share our news with everyone. As well as keeping you informed we would like this newsletter to be a celebration of all the wonderful work that our children and staff do. We hope to recognise the very best achievements amongst the 5000+ students in our school as well as letting you know some of the opportunities that our staff provide for them. You will appreciate that we can only showcase the very best and it will be a real achievement to be recognised in these pages when we have so many remarkable students. We will try to balance our celebrations across the different parts of the school so that our youngest children are celebrated just as much as our eldest and both girls and boys are equally represented. If your child is not lucky enough to be recognised in these pages please remember that there are lots of other ways in which we recognise achievements in the school. We will also tell you about the main events that have happened and are coming up. Even if these are not relevant to your child at the moment you will get an idea of the opportunities that will be available later in their school career. We hope that you enjoy reading our newsletters and find them useful. If you have any feedback to give us we are always happy to hear it and with your help we will make the newsletter better and better with every edition. It gives me great pleasure to welcome you to our new monthly newsletter for parents. Although you receive your weekly newsletters

from your teachers which are relevant to your section and your Year Group we thought it would be good to give you a monthly

overview of things that are happening in our school. There is so much to celebrate at TWS that we thought it a shame not to share

our news with everyone.

As well as keeping you informed we would like this newsletter to be a celebration of all the wonderful work that our children and

You will appreciate that we can only showcase the very best and it will be a real achievement to be recognised in these pages when

we have so many remarkable students. We will try to balance our celebrations across the different parts of the school so that our

youngest children are celebrated just as much as our eldest and both girls and boys are equally represented. If your child is not lucky

enough to be recognised in these pages please remember that there are lots of other ways in which we recognise achievements in

the school.

We will also tell you about the main events that have happened and are coming up. Even if these are not relevant to your child at the
