Dr Vijay Agarwal Dr Vijay Agarwal, a graduate and postgraduate in Pediatrics from the prestigious Maulana Azad Medical College has held coveted professional positions over the past four decades. His experience extends from being a successful pediatrician to an excellent strategist and administrator. Dr Vijay Agarwal is an academician of repute and has been the Editor of several national publications of pediatrics. He has edited the “Textbook of Family Medicine” and has authored the widely acclaimed textbook “An approach to pediatric problems”. As a leader par excellence, Dr Agarwal has played a central role in creating strategies for national programs of global importance such as the Pulse Polio program. He is a member of the Delhi Pollution Control Committee, Delhi Government, and has been instrumental in introducing and implementing the concept of Centralized Hospital Waste Management Scheme in Delhi. Dr Vijay Agarwal led the NABH and ISO accreditation team of Max Hospitals during his tenure as Director Operations and Administration and has also been the founder Chairman of the Nursing Home Forum of Delhi from 1993 to 2003. His philanthropic activities are well recognized and range from the development of innovative educational and employment facilities for the disabled to initiatives that use global information technology highways for their empowerment. As President of the Society for Child Development and the Disability India Network, Dr Agarwal has indeed brought about a change in the lives of many.

Dr Vijay Agarwal is an academician of repute and has been the Editor of several
