Network Description for Example DT 2.1 Layout This network contains one Mobile Switching Center (MSC), two BSC/TRCs, one Stand Alone BSC, one Serving GPRS Support Node (SGSN), one MSC Server UMTS, one Media Gateway (MGw) and one Radio Network Controller (RNC). It also includes 12 cells according to Figure 1 . Cell SUNDB1B is a neighbouring UMTS cell. 2.2 Layout, Traffic DT for ANSIThe traffic DT for ANSI is made according to Figure 2.

Some DT files are different for ETSI and ANSI. ETSI (European Telecommunication Standards Institute) means that CCITT CCS7 signalling is used, ANSI (American National Standards Institute) means that ANSI CCS7 signalling is used.
