COS-C Exam Prep & OASIS Training
A WEBINAR Series
A 6-part Webinar Series
2:00-3:00pm EST
A New Approach to COS-C Exam Preparation
and Advanced OASIS Training
Excellence in OASIS-C
Presented By: Joan Usher, BS, RHIA, COS-C, ACE
Looking for an innovative way to prepare your staff to take the COS-C Exam? Are you searching for efficient ways to offer advanced training workshops without the travel or multi-day staff costs? The Excellence in OASIS-C Webinar Series has been specially developed to help you train more of your staff at a fraction of the cost of a full day workshop. While this intense series is designed for the motivated student who wants to pursue their COS-C designation, it is also appropriate for the clinician looking to enhance their OASIS-C understanding and accuracy. OASIS-C has undergone many clarifications and changes since its implementation, resulting in revised guidelines. Case mix scores are dropping because of a lack of understanding on how to score OASIS data items. This advanced program provides a comprehensive overview of OASIS for a thorough understanding to successfully complete the COS-C exam. Incorporated throughout the series will be the OASIS item intent, guidelines and corresponding OASIS Q&As. This program is appropriate for Clinical Directors and Supervisors, Performance Improvement Specialists, Case Managers and Utilization Specialists or experienced Clinicians. This 6-part webinar series (60 minutes each) will require the participant to download OASIS materials in advance of the program and complete homework from each session. Time will be allotted in the beginning of each session to review homework and questions before proceeding to new content. All live sessions will be taped and available for viewing following their live broadcast.
