GENERAL

ComportPoint Open Excel 500/600 Hardware Migration Kit consists of various combinations of Adapter boards to migrate Excel 500/600 controllers (Excel 500/600s with the housing, which is XC5010B, XC5010C, XC5210C, and XC6010) to a ComfortPoint Open System. The ComfortPoint Open library applications are used to convert the Honeywell CARE control program logic to ComfortPoint Open.

ComfortPoint Open Excel 500/600 Hardware Migration Kit

The Excel 500/600 Hardware Migration Kit supports XL500/600 controllers used with the XS563 wiring base and the 14507274-001/002 extended wiring base.

The Excel 500/600 Hardware Migration Kit plugs into the existing Excel 500/600 wiring base and eliminates the need to rewire the I/O or rearrange the panel layout.

I/O MODULE COMPATIBILITY MATRIX WITH EXCEL 500/600 HARDWARE MIGRATION KIT

Figure 1 XS564 Enclosure

The Excel 500/600 Hardware Migration Kit replaces the Excel 500/600 controllers in the housing (XC5010B, XC5010C, XC5210C, and XC6010 CPUs) with XF521A, XF522A, XF523A, XF524A, XF526, XF527, and XF529 I/O modules.

The CPO-PC-6A controller is installed onto the Excel 500/600 Hardware Migration Kit using the supplied DIN Rail and the 2-wire and 4-wire harnesses for power and communication.
