Our numerous flexible rooms mean the Examination Schools is suitable for a range of talks and lectures as well as business meetings, product launches,
presentations and seminars. Room sizes vary from 12 to 440 so whatever size you require, we are sure to be able to accommodate your request.
Our rooms retain their original fireplaces and wood panelling, and the high ceilings and large windows flood them with natural light. Add AV facilities, Wi-Fi
and a range of catering options, and you’ll find you won’t want to hold your event anywhere else.
Our venue also lends itself perfectly to photoshoots and filming.

Our beautiful venue and facilities have already drawn you in, now let our service, green credentials and accessibility tempt you too.
Customer ServiceHere at the Examination Schools, we pride ourselves on excellent customer service.
Every event matters whether it is a five day conference for 900 people or a half day business meeting for 10. We are part of the Customer Service Excellence accreditations and are a member of the
Meetings Industry Association (MIA)
It’s all about being greenYou may think for a historical venue its hard being “green”. However, our Facilities team
are committed to making our building as sustainable as possible. We have achieved a Bronze Green Impact Award and work closely with the University’s Environmental Sustainability Department to make
sure none of our waste goes to landfill; it is either recycled or used for fuel.
Accessing our VenueWe may be in the heart of the bustling city of Oxford, but there’s no shortage of ways to
get to the Examination Schools.
Buses to and from London stop outside our venue, as do many of the city’s frequent Park and Ride services. Both the Bus Station and Train Station are under a 20 minute walk away
and have taxi ranks if required. We do not have any parking on site, but with good public transport connections, delegates and guest are spoiled for options.
You can also feel safe in the knowledge that our venue is fully wheelchair accessible and hearing support systems are available. For full accessibility information, please see the access area of our website.
