Who are we? And where are we heading?!
The Findhorn Founda-on community is an experiment in conscious living, a learning centre and an ecovillage. Based mainly at The Park, Findhorn and at Cluny Hill in the nearby town
of Forres, the community extends also to individuals, businesses and organisa-ons within a 50-‐mile radius of The Park and to the islands of Iona and Erraid on the west coast of Scotland.

The Evolution of this Centre of Light in Decades Each decade carries the seeds for the following one as well as it’s a time of consolidation and integration of what has grown before
6th decade (2012 to 2022) East Whins and Soillse (first co-housing communities) completed West Whins in planning, first shared Common Ground, attempts to create greater coherence, transparency and accountability Streaming events ????? the Future
5th decade (2002 to 2012) – Consolidation and Reaching out Building Bridges, Eileen received her MBE for Spiritual Enquiery Cifal, Consultancy, the Soul of Education and Ecovillage Design Education (EDE) happened in other countries
4th decade (1992 to 2002) – Emergence of the Village
former FF departments become independent (Trees For Life, Holistic Health, AES-Appropriate Energy Systems, The Game, Findhorn Press, Posthouse Printing (now Big Sky), the Phoenix Rio Earth Summit – beginning of our relationship with the UN People started to come and live here without wanting to join the FF, 1999-NFA being formed as the big umbrella for the whole centre
3rd decade (1982 to 1992) – Governance and Leadership Exploration of forms of governance and leadership – consensus, empowering of groups
2nd decade (1972 to 1982) – Physical Manifestation first Core Group was formed, the building of the Hall began, Traigh Bhan was gifted, Cluny was bought, Drumduan was gifted, the Park Building, Cullerne Garden was bought, Station House, the Game, the Caravan Park, Peter left the Community,
1st decade (1962 to 1972) - Grounding the Garden was started, Co-creation with Nature began, the network of Light was consciously built, the Main Sanctuary was built, David Spangler came, Eileen stopped giving guidance to the Community, the Experience Week was started, The Findhorn Foundation was formed as an educational trust (one of Dürten attempts to make sense of this place ~ nothing of this is true and by no means complete )

Changing Community • Larger and more diverse than 15 years ago
• Just one example: Founda-on no longer majority -tle holder at the Park
• The need for support for connec-on, collabora-on, healing and evolu-on is even greater than 15 years ago.

• Connect these processes to each other and to an umbrella strategy
• Ensure community awareness and engagement in the process • Explore op-ons for community wide structures, strategy and
governance • Create and present proposal for possible community change
