Focus Group
When:
Where: Friends House173-177 Euston RoadLondonNW1 2BJ
Friday, 7th of September12.30pm - 4.30pm
You are invited to have your say!
We would like to hear your views on the changes the NHS are proposing on prescribing interventions for 17 conditions.
To have your say, we invite you to come to our focus group (a day with other people with learning disabilities).
The NHS is looking at ways to decide
which ones it should keep using and
which it should stop using.
Interventions are surgical procedures
and treatments that doctors use to
treat some conditions.
They are hoping that the changes
will allow the right interventions to
be used at the right time for some
conditions and save staff time and
money.
The proposed changes also mean
that the NHS could focus more on
using new and better treatments.
They want to be sure that latest
research is used in deciding
treatments.
New evidence has shown that some
interventions are not always the best
or the first way of treating some
conditions.
Last year, the NHS spent a lot of money on interventions.
You are invited to this focus
group to say what you think
about the proposed changes.
Refreshments will be provided.
Please let us know if you have
any access needs, so we can plan
for this before the event.
