One of Mother Nature’s most simple, elegant, and powerful examples of movement, wind, is one of the inspirations for the Hyundai design principle called Fluidic Sculpture. Even at rest, the Accent is a marvel to look at. Its dynamic lines with deep grooves create a sporty profile. The intelligent design of the interior creatively maximizes space and is packed with plenty of conveniences, like the

multiple features located on the steering wheel. These include the available tilt and telescopic options to adjust its

position, available audio/cruise control settings, and an available Bluetooth® Hands-free phone system – all at your

finger tips. There’s also standard iPod®/USB/auxiliary input jacks to play your favourite music. With beautiful, space

saving design, the Accent looks great and provides more space for the driver, passengers and cargo than seems

possible. That means more space for you, family, friends, and all your stuff.

SMALL EXTERIOR. LARGE INTERIOR

There are two types of safety: active and passive. The former works to prevent accidents, while the latter helps to protect the

passengers in an accident. The 2014 Accent comes loaded with both types. Every Accent comes standard with six airbags1, Vehicle

Stability Management (VSM), Electronic Stability Control (ESC), Traction Control System (TCS)2, and front active head restraints.

For better accident avoidance, the Accent is equipped with standard 4-wheel disc brakes and an Anti-lock Braking System (ABS)

with Electronic Brake-force Distribution (EBD) and Brake Assist. When it comes to safety, the 2014 Accent is prepared.

The primary measure of a small car is fuel consumption. With superior Gasoline Direct Injection (GDI) engine technology,

the Accent is able to precisely control the injection of fuel and delivers an impressive 138 horsepower, 123 lb-ft of torque and

5.2L/100 km (A/T) highway fuel economy. We’ve also incorporated an offset crankshaft design, an electronic throttle control,

and even silica tires that help reduce friction with the road. It all adds up to greater fuel efficiency.

POWER SUNROOF.Add a wide open swatch of sky to your driving experience with an available power tilt-and-slide, one-touch glass sunroof.

SMART STORAGE.Traveling with lots of stuff? Chances are the Accent has a spot for it. Take a seat inside and you’ll find available features such as overhead sunglass storage, front map pockets with bottle holders, a storage tray, dual front cupholders, a sliding armrest storage console, and a front glove compartment – all to help keep you organized. For larger and longer items you need to store, the Accent also offers available 60/40 split fold-down rear seatback.

4-WHEEL DISC BRAKES.Standard 4-wheel disc brakes add that extra level of safety by using the back wheels as well as the front to make for faster, effective stops.

ACTIVE ECO SYSTEM.It’s as simple as pushing a button. Standard on all automatic transmission models, the Active ECO System modifies engine and transmission control for smoother and smarter accelerations to help improve fuel economy.

AUTOMATIC TEMPERATURE CONTROL.The available automatic temperature control system provides ultimate comfort and convenience by maintaining the temperature selected by the driver or passenger. By monitoring temperature levels and controlling air flow, the cabin temperature stays exactly where you want it, no effort required.

HEATED SEATS.A welcomed luxury to the 2014 Accent are front heated seats that makes staying warm easier than ever (standard on GL and GLS models).

IPOD® CONNECTIVITY AND AVAILABLE SIRIUSXMTM RADIO.A 6-speaker, 172-watt audio system provides great sound. Standard iPod®/USB auxiliary input jacks let you listen to your favorite music, or tune into the available SiriusXM™ Satellite Radio, with 130 digital channels, for even more music options.
