When overhauling or repairing radial engine accessories is time critical, aircraft owners and operators know that Aero Accessories, Inc. stands ready to deliver immediate assistance.
Quality is the top priority at Aero Accessories, which has been supplying Grade-A service to its customers for more than 50 years. The client roster includes an impressive mix of aircraftrelated customers connected with commercial enterprises, restorations, museums, and many individual, private owners. From its 1956 opening to the present time, Aero Accessories has specialized in radial engine accessories.
Aero Accessories holds a Repair Station (FAR Section 145.59) Accessory Class 2: Electrical Rating. This includes, but is not limited to: starters, DC generators, voltage regulators, valves, switches, actuators, fuel boost pumps, DC motors, magnetos, and reverse current cutout relays. The company also holds a Limited Rating for Accessories-Mechanical. Services on this rating include but are not limited to: prop governors, fuel pumps, hydraulic pumps, vacuum pumps, pressure carburetors, float carburetors, fuel feed valves, ADI regulators, injection pumps, DC3(C47), DC6(C118), and C46 wheels, hydraulic struts, compensating cylinders, pressure regulators, accumulators, and numerous other hydraulic components.
Aero provides engine accessories for many radial engines, including: Pratt & Whitney R985, R1340, R2000, R1830, R2800, R4360; Curtiss-Wright R975, R1300, R1820, R2600, R3350; Jacobs R755; and Continental W670. Merlin and Allison engine owners also benefit from Aero support. All units that are overhauled by Aero Accessories, Inc. are backed up by a six month limited warranty* against defects in workmanship and materials.
Operating as an FAA certified repair station at its longtime headquarters in San Antonio, Texas, the company’s greatest asset is the team of highly
experienced professionals, ready to serve you. When a company is a good place to work, it is also a good company to work with. The core group of loyal mechanics, who are dedicated to serving Aero’s customers through top quality craftsmanship, have an average tenure of 18.5 years.
General Manager Debra A. Broyles has been with Aero Accessories for 23 years, and Assistant General Manager Jodi L. Routh is an 19 year veteran. Debra Broyles and Jodi Rout are the voices of Aero Accessories, whom customers have been contacting regularly these many years. With that level of familiarity, great relationships exist with their customers. In fact, Debra and Jodi are popularly referred to by some as “those women down in Texas.” Call those women in Texas!
